"Calum, why couldn't you stay with me. You were my medicine. My antidote."

I just moved to Sydney, Australia. Everything is different from America.

(A/N actually I don't know if this is true, but you know this is just a story. BTW THIS IS THE MAIN CHARACTER'S POV.)

The people, the food, I could keep going on and on.

The people were so nice though. When I landed, I went ahead and found the address to my home. I called an uber to pick me up. When I got to my location I started unpacking. After a few hours just about everything was unpacked.

"Wow. The house is looking nice."

"Bgrbgrbgr." A noise came from my stomach. Whoops. I guess I'm hungry. I grabbed my phone and my purse and headed to the supermarket.

I put on my earbuds and listened to One Direction's "You and I."  I saw no one around, so I started singing out loud.

I was halfway to the market.

" Wow. You got one heck of a voice." a voice said out of nowhere.

I jumped a little. I took of my earbuds and turned around to see who was talking to me.

I was met with a boy around my age. He had a tan skin and dimples when he smiled. He was very muscular. He had a friendly kind of face.

" Oh. Yeah, ummm. You heard?" I asked. I realized that was a stupid question. I looked away in embarrassment.

"I think everyone heard. I mean talk about the noise of a dying cow." he said smirking. I slapped him playfully.

" Hey, but I know you loved it."

" Maybe I did... Or maybe it was so bad that it woke up the dying cow." I playfully shoved him and he walked away.

"Ugghhh. Rude. He didn't even say goodbye." I mumbled continuing my path to the grocery.

I picked my groceries and paid for them, exiting the market.

I walked back home thinking about the tanned boy. I went inside my house and placed all the bags down.

I ate dinner and got ready for bed.
