jisoo whispered to herself while closing her eyes to calm herself down. she might sound like she's insane talking to herself for the past few minutes.
she opened her eyes then she stares at her phone screen once more for the umpteenth time.

she frowned at her screen. that sounded so weird.

jisoo didn't even get to press send. she almost dropped her phone out of her window.

she rubbed her eyes to check if she is not seeing things. jisoo squeezed her eyes to make sure once more and took her time before pushing the answer button.
there's no sound for the first few seconds. she was ready to open her mouth but he did it first.
"that took you long enough."
"w-what?"
she cursed in her mind for stuttering.
"what were you doing? is your phone that interesting that you stared at it for like 20 minutes and didn't do anything."
jisoo frowned.
she heard him chuckling over the phone. "jichu."
she hummed in response because he doesn't say anything.
"look outside, will you?" jisoo could hear him smiling.
she is confused but she did as he said anyways. jisoo looked outside her window, with her eyes scanning around. "oh my." god.
jisoo's mouth slightly gaped open in shock when she saw hyungseob standing in front of her house. she rubbed her eyes and blinked only to see hyungseob is still looking up at her.
"how are you even here.." she muttered under her breath and he only chuckled again.
"can you come down?"
"my mom will kill me."
"so are you saying you're gonna leave me hanging? not to mention you sneaked out last time."
jisoo sighed. "wait." she sounded hassled, which was not true.
jisoo ended the call. she quickly jumped out of her bed. she doesn't forget to take his hoodie which she has been keeping in her closet to return it to him.
and when she is sure hyungseob can't see her anymore, her lips curve into a wide smile.
