The forgotten (BTS Fanfiction)

Chapter 6

- after two days-

Shit I only have 20 minutes to get ready! They're going to leave without me!

I quickly take a shower and I wear my new uniform which arrived yesterday. It's a blue skirt not too short but not too long either. There's also a white shirt with an orange tie. I really like it and I think it suits me. I've never wore a skirt before because I'm insecure about my legs. So I'm going to wear my favourite long black shocks. Last but not least I wear my shoes and head downstairs to eat my breakfast.

Me: Good morning!
Mom: Good morning sweetheart. You look beautiful in your new uniform.
Me: Really? Phew thanks. What did you make today?
Mom: Two fried eggs with rice and orange juice.
Me: Nice!
Mom: Someone looks excited today. I mean I've never seen you like that before... You're sure nothing happend? Did you by any chance find that boy? Or maybe did you find someone else?

I accidentally drop my spoon on the floor. What does she mean " find someone else"? That's not happening. I did all these things to find him and yet they think I'm giving up?

Me: Mom.. stop please.
Mom: I just wanted to know! You were always thinking about him and you never had friends! Something must have happened. You meet up with those classmates. Why can't I know what's happening in your life?
Me: Because maybe nothing has changed? I'm just trying for once to have a normal life like all the girls my age! Goodbye. I'm going to school.
Mom:...

I picked up my bag, I got my keys and my phone and went out slamming the door behind me. Once I get outside I see three boys standing there waiting for me.

Jm: Why are you so late? We've been waiting for... wow your uniform.. It would look better on me.
Me: *blushing* idiot. I know you're just teasing me.
V: You look beautiful.
Jk:..Y-yeah you do...
Μe: thanks I guess... Shouldn't we go to school now?
Jm: Oh yes you're right.

While we were entering school everyone was looking at us and whispering. I guess these guys are really popular. Some girls were staring at me judging me. I felt so uncomfortable for a second but then I thought I've never been feeling this way from others disliking or judging me.

V: Don't think about their opinion. You are amazing and that's what matters. We're your friends and we aren't letting anybody hurt you.
Me: Don't worry. I'm used to it.
Jk: What do you mean?
Me: It's.. a long story.

I noticed Ava in the crowd and when she saw me she came running towards me.

A: Marie! You look great in the uniform! I bet many guys will fall for you,  I'm so jealous!
Me: Haha thanks. You shouldn't be jealous. You're so pretty and I can tell you have many friends.
A: I'm glad we met.
Me: me too. *smiles*

When the bell rang me and Jungkook headed to our class. He's stopped being that shy when we talk. He was cute when he was like that but I prefer him this way. We sit down and pay attention to the lesson. Actually he pays attention to the lesson. I'm just thinking about yesterday! Ava and me went shopping together! It's my first time shopping with a friend. I always went with my mom, my bro or alone. I really like her style of dressing and I needed some new clothes because almost everything in my wardrobe are sweatshirts, t-shirts, pants and only two jeans. She also bought a skirt as a present for me! She's too good... Sometimes I think... what if I always were like that. Having friends and maybe.. a boyfriend. What if I forgot about that promise and had a normal life... Of course my thoughts were interrupted by something and for my bad luck it was the teacher. Detention. Tomorrow I'll have to clean the toilets after school. Great for me...
The bell rings and I get out getting followed by JK (I will write his name like that ). We found V and Jimin waiting for us to get our lunch. I noticed Ava but when I went to talk to her she had already sat on a table with her friends. I turned back heading to where the boys sat.

JM: What happened Marie? Everything's okay?
Me: Yeah totally...
V: Come on tell us.
Me: It's nothing. I just have to clean the toilet tomorrow after class but  I also need to go early to my house because my mom needs help with something. *she thinks: Liar. You don't even care about the toilets*
JK: Well if you paid attention to the lesson you wouldn't have to clean them.
Me: Said the smartass. Why do you even care about the lesson?..
I don't like the food. I'm just going back to class.
Jk: Wait Marie!
Me: Leave me alone...
Jk:...
JM: It's okay Jungkook. Just let her go.
Jk: Why? So you two can go after her? Yeah right! You remember everything about that promise except from who made it with her. I didn't even remember about a promise. When she told us about a boy she liked when she was young I thought she was kidding. You, Jimin, later told me that someone from us made a promise with a girl. Since then you two like her. But I forgot. I forgot completely. You didn't even tell me before that I was a part of this. She wants to believe that the guy she loves remembers her and that he stayed loyal to her like she does to him. What if I am that boy? Am I going to tell her that till now I had 6 relationships? That I totally forgot her? I'll break her heart and-
JM: Enough. We heard enough.
Jk: I'm not done.
JM: It doesn't matter because...
V: Because you're not that boy.
Jk: ... What?...
