Friend and a Husband?

"Hey Annabell watch where you are going!!"

I wish I could have slapped that smirk right off her face but i knew better than to get involved with the populars in Highwood Highschool.

This was the Third time I tripped in less than 20 minutes and let me tell you I am not a clumsy person.

Today was just a normal day as everyday was and I was excited that I had one more year to go untill I was out of this living hell.

I started walking towards my locker and which I might say was pretty far away from my classes...and people. Not that I was complaining I liked to be away from people.

Well I was walking towards my locker when i saw HIM and when I saw HIM my shadows start replaying that night. Making me turn into jelly.

I started walking away faster so the shadows would stop but the further i got the worst they totured me.

I didnt notice when I started crying in between all this. I only felt the water running down my face like a river trying to run away from itself.

I was walking faster and faster each time untill BAM! I bumped into someone and it  sent us both flying backwards.

"Hey next time watch where you are going..Damn my shirt is all ruined!"

I dared to look up and see that is was the player I MEAN Ryan.

"Im sorry I wasn't watching where I was going" i stutterd with these simple words scared that this would get people's attention and get HIS attention.

"Yeah haven't you heard that sorry doesn't change anything!" He said turning around to walk away

Yeah I have heard that....

"Hey" I said standing up and glaring at him.

He turned back and started at me with his own personal glare AND let me tell you i was WAS about to back down but i wasn't going to let him walk away from me.

"AT LEAST I SAID SORRY!! YOU BUMPED INTO ME TOO! I DESERVE A SORRY AS WELL!"

When I was done screaming I saw that we have gotten ALL of highwood's attention.

Thats when my heart started to close and I felt the sweat coming down my forehead.

My shadows going around me replaying those memories i yet to forget.

I felt HIS eyes on my watching my every movement just like that night...

The fighting how i tried to get away. Running away but him catching up easily.Pulling my hair to the ground keeping me in place.Giving up and crying....

I didnt relaize i was spacing out untill i heard the laughter of people around me

I didnt know why untill i turned and looked at Ryan to see a huge smirk on his face

But that smirk didnt last long when he saw i was crying instead it went towards a concern frown..

And that confused me. Why would he be concerned about me...a nobody.

I couldn't take the stares so I got my stuff and ran to the bathroom stalls. In whiched i stayed and cried untill I heard someone come in

"Hello i know your in there"

I stayed quiet not knowing who she was or why she wanted to talk to me

"Hey im Crystal I new here and I saw what happened..I came to see if you were okay?"

I came out to see a 5'2 little girl red hair that looked like flames and her piercing black eyes looking at me in concern.

"Yeah im fine thanks for asking" I said camly while having my wall up.

"Well im Crystal and im new here" she said with a big smile and gave me her hand.

Which i shook kindly

"Im Annabell and as you can see im a....Independent girl"

That was better than saying i was a loner.

"Ah im Crystal and you seem like a nice girl to be friends with"

"I should warn you im not good company" I told her trying to warn her

"Its okay but you should know im not good comapny either"

We stared at each other and bursted out laughing

Hm maybe she COULD be a nice friend

"What class do you have first?" I asked wondering if we had any classes together

"Health class what about you?"

I smiled big"Health class as well come on before we are late"

When we got there the class had already begun so we took the seats all the way in the back

"So today we are going to do a project and will count as half of your grade" Our teacher stated

Everyone groaned and whined about this project

"You will be working in partners"

Everyone started looking around to see who they would choose. While Crystal and I looked at each other knowing we were partners already

"Which i will pick for you!!"

Everyone groaned again and this time i joined. Another person but why!!

The teacher started announcing the parteners.

Crystal got stuck with Aaron a popluar player.

She went to sit next to him while she turned around and gave me a irrated face. In which i busted out laughing.

" and Annabell with Ryan please"

I froze and i saw ryan stiffen as well. I got my stuff slowly trying to buy time but than the teacher told me to hurry up. So i got my stuff and took the seat next to Ryan.

Ryan turned and stared at me while i stared back into his Green eyes. Hmmmm i never noticed how beautiful his eyes were...

What am i thinking shaking my head i turned my attention towards the teacher

"This project will teach you how to be married to someone at a young age. There will be a new assignment each week both you and your partner must complete before the end of the week. You will have to live in one house for a week than the other and trade back and forth. Now start planning!"

I turned to Ryan and saw him staring at me already

"So.." I took a large breath and said "Which house your's or mine?"

"Would you mind if we went to your's first "

"Okay mine it is"

Thats when the bell rang and everyone started leaving. While Crystal came to me Ryan said

"I'll be over at 6 i got football practice"

"Okay do you need the directions" I was tempted to give him a fake direction but i am not a mean person so i didn't

"Okay see you later"Ryan said and walked out of the classroom

I got my stuff and walked out with crystal while i was thinking over the situation

Than it hit me..Whenever a boy is around me my shadows get stronger..

What was i going to do now!!!
