Chapter 2: Jason's POV
Hey, my name is Jason Anthony Cullen and I am a vampire. I have pale skin and golden eyes. My hair is a shaggy brown that goes down to my neck. I hate being a vampire. My whole family have mates except for me. My mom keeps telling that one day, I will find a mate of my own. But I don't believe that. My mom's name is Renessmee Cullen. She has beautiful chocolate brown eyes and wavy brown hair. My Dad is Jacob Black, the leader of the wolf pack. I have two Aunt's and two uncles. There names are Rosalie Hale, Jasper Hale, Alice Cullen, and Emmet Cullen. Emmet is a big buff guy with brown army cut hair. Rosalie is a beautiful women with blond hair. Alice is small and annoying girl with short spiky brown hair. And Jasper is buff and blond. I have four Grandparents named Bella, Edward, Carlisle, and Esme Cullen. Bell looks like alot like my mom and Edward looks like me. Carlisle is the oldest of our clan and Esme's the second oldest. Carlisle has short blond hair and Esme has long brown hair.
Another day of school, another day of hell. School is torture for me and so is not being at school. Almost our whole family goes to school, except Carlisle and Esme. We were all sitting at our usual table, of course. Since we are vampires we have to stay far away from humans at lunch. I was sitting in between my Mom and Bella in the cafeteria. I wish something interesting would happen, but of course it won't.
"Don't look so down, kid." Emmet said.
"Yeah, you are always so boring." Alice stated.
I sighed and rolled my eyes at there terrible attempts to make me feel better. They all know that my stupid vampire life would be better if I had someone to care for, like they do.
"What's the point? My life stinks." I mumbled.
"Well your just a bucket full of sunshine, aren't ya." Mom joked.
I stiffened. I smell a vampire. Not a scent that's familiar. I looked around but no vampire in sight.
"I smell a.....strange vampire scent." I whispered.
Edward's head shot up and his eyes were on a table somewhere behind me. I turned my head and saw the most beautiul face I have ever seen. Her hair is wavy, brown, down to the middle of her back. Her eyes were golden like ours, but they were more beautiful on her. Without thinking I said something embarrassing that would have made me blush. If I could.
"Beautiful." I said, smiling.
"Aw, the wittle Jason is crushing on the new girl." Emmet mocked. I hissed with irritation. My eyes were still on the girl. Her head snapped up when she heard Emmet. She narrowed her eyes at me as if to say: Why are you staring? It's not nice. She turned her attention back to the girl next to her. Wow, her eyes were shockingly easy to read. I didn't want to turn away but my mom forced me to. She turned my head around so I was looking at everbody. My Dad was trying not to laugh at my thougths.
"Did anybody else see sparks?" Alice wondered. Her eyes went blank for a second and then she was really happy. I'm confused.
"What did you see, Alice?" I asked curiously.
"You and the new girl are going to start dating." She said, smilin broadly.
"When?" I asked excitedly.
"That depends on her. She is going to be.....stubborn." She admitted.
I frowned at that. Really, she has to be stubborn.
"I can't read her mind." Edward stated.
"What? Really? Do you think she is like Bella?" I wondered aloud.
"Possibly. We'll have to ask her when you guys become friends." Edward answered.
I can't wait till after school.
