Part 3: Red's Demise...

I had just came home from school on a Friday afternoon, knowing me I needed to relax due to a rough day at school. Seeing as I'm a huge gamer I thought I'd play Pokémon. Now my family wasn't the richest and so the only thing I had at the time was a Game Boy Advanced and I had a few games for it which one was Pokemon leaf green. I had heard about the creepy tales of this game and I put it out of my head since I knew they were fake. So I grabbed my game boy advanced and curled up on my bed. I started the game up and after the title screen I raised my eyebrow a little. The save screen had a different name then the one I started. "Red." "Red?" I said staring at the name with confusion. I knew this was different but I wanted to know what happened after Leaf's end since a friend of mine told me what happened beforehand and I selected the save file. My character was placed in their room with the normal pallet town theme. Nothing out of the ordinary, even the tv was there. I walked up to the tv and pressed the A button and text popped up. "The tv is displaying odd texted appeared. "I'm sorry eevee.."" i tilted my head. "Must be leaf." I thought to myself as I head out of my room. Mother was downstairs and I interacted with her.
"Good morning red! Are you looking for your pikachu? The little one is right here." I received my pikachu. Then i went out the door and saw blue next to a sign. I read the sign and it had read. "loneliness Rest in Peace..Leaf you won't be forgotten..." I shivered a little, but continued with the game.  I went up to Blue and pressed the A button to talk to him and he said this.
"Red! Pikachu is looking good and well. I had a dream about Leaf and Loneliness....Urk..I don't want to talk about it......" The last couple lines threw me off. "Why is pikachu holding a spell tag? Anyways, Gramps is looking for you. He's in the lab as always...." I was a little thrown off about the last part about pickachu holding a spell tag so I opened the menu and chose pikachu. Sure enough, a normal enough level and move set but like blue had said, he was holding a spell tag after that I was a little creeped out but nonetheless I went to where the lab and well the first thing that was off was the music, it was not music from inside oaks lab, instead was replaced with the power plant music.. the other thing that threw me off was that the professor wasn't there..instead was replaced with a ghost... All he said was:
"Red......................run....away..."
"Run? From what? Why?" I asked myself as exited the doors but instead was teleported to the Pokémon tower. One of those strange kimono girls was not far from the door. I spoke to her and she said:
"Please scale the tower..I do believe someone awaits you."
I could only assume it was Blue who the kimono girl was referring to, so I climbed the only flight of stairs there were. When I got to the top there were graves blocking the rest of the path and another kimono girl standing just below me. When I spoke to her she said.
"What..? Your not blue...why isn't he here? Please.. go back.."
Having no other choice I did as she said and went back down. I'm now in Pallet town again, except I'm placed just above Oaks lab with blue now in front of me instead of in front of the sign. Another thing I noted was instead of the happy pallet town theme it's completely silent..which unnerved me as I had a small expectation of something happening..something...intense. I went up to blue and pressed "A" and his text now read: "Red! You look terrible...You should take a rest..Go back home.."
I could only assume he knew I had a word with the kimono girl at the Pokémon tower..but then again...how did he know that? Oh well..I went to my house and when I had gotten inside...well...there were many changes. First thing I noted was that the table that mom was sitting at was gone. The floor has dark tiles that spelled out "Red" and there was a T.V......but the one thing that really freaked me out was the ghost sprite of Leaf was on top of the tv. When I had interacted with the tv..the cry of an Eevee could be heard and it progressively got louder as the text read: "Help......us.....red....." popped up. I thought this woulda been the only text on screen but it too progressively got intense as if Leaf was really calling out to red..the last time it popped it the whole text was in capital letters as if she desperately was calling out to Red and the eevee cry was at max volume, it really made me nervous so I didn't hesitate to head upstairs. Everything seemed to be the way it was when I first woke up in my room..except now the lavender town theme was playing, and Blue was at the computer. When interacting with him Blue said: "Red!......What? Leaf? Loneliness? Asking you for help? He was a curse! Remember? This is getting silly. Let's go to my house!"
I did remember my friend telling me how Blue and leaf though loneliness was a curse..still I carried on with the game and now I'm teleported to a single room with a table and Blue seated in the upper left hand corner with the power plant music playing again. I walked up to him and pressed "A"
"Red....The stuff you're were saying...about Leaf and Loneliness.......please tell me you're joking.....your not....oh god...this is....the dream I had...The moment Pikachu has the spell tag...I knew the dream was becoming reality...I'm sorry Red...I have to beat you down here and NOW!!!!"
With that the champion theme from when you faced your rival in Pokémon fire red and leaf green played as the rival scroll in with the text reading "Champion blue would like to battle!"
We both had one Pokémon each. Blue sent out his level 8 Raticate....which for some reason was invisible..and I sent out my pikachu level 10. The move set my pikachu had was as follows:
Growl
Thunder shock
Tail whip
Thunderwave
His Raticate used Quick Attack which didn't do much damage because of his level. Static kicked in after the attack and his Raticate was paralyzed. I used thundershock which did about a quarter of Raticate's health. This continued with Raticate unable to attack due to the paralysis. When I knocked Raticate out the normal fainting message appeared which I was a bit surprised as I thought it woulda read his Raticate died. The theme when you beat the champion played as Blue scrolled in saying: "........." after which returning to the over world the text read "Blue began to shiver.......Red....help.....me......I......feel.......scared.......I......I........I..........I abandoned that little Eevee....he......was.....a.............A CURSE!!!!!"
The sound of a door opening played as the screen faded to black and now I'm teleported again to the Pokémon tower. Now I'm outside the barrier that blocked you from advancing from before and now the rain is in effect. I climbed the tower and when I got to the top floor where originally you'd rescue Mr. Fugi now TVs were scattered everywhere. Going up to each one it told the story of what happened before. "Blue...he was torn when his Raticate died. Out of frustration he abandoned that little Eevee.., He ran, he was scared... Eevee was confused... Eevee chose Leaf as a friend...but Leaf was lied to by Blue... Leaf...she murdered Eevee...only because she believed he was nothing but a curse...but....I'm not a curse...I'm just....lonely...so alone..." I assumed that it was a narrator at first talking about what happened then the perspective changed to loneliness speaking. I should also note when I interacted with the TVs an Eevee cry could be heard. I had gotten to the final tv.
"Leaf asked for forgiveness and she was forgiven....But did blue ask for forgiveness?...............He asked to kill his friends...Loneliness...Leaf.....and now Red..."
Now it hit me...:
Blue was overcome with anger and sadness when he lost his Raticate...so when he met Eevee he thought of his as a curse..possibly because he thought he tried to think of the Eevee as Raticate but wasn't the same..so he abandoned it..thinking it was a curse...then when Leaf found the Eevee and met up with blue..he lied to Leaf..telling her Eevee was a curse..which explains why she murdered it...when Red found out..or should I say was dragged into the mess..well he now found out his friends...Leaf...loneliness...are now dead...and it was all because of blue...overcome with anger...guilt...and sadness...
Blue was above him was Leaf and two ghosts stood where Fugi would be who said only this..:
"....everyone else is dead...expect you and I......you have nothing left to live for...you are nothing Red...you're......you're a curse like loneliness...and I will destroy you..side by side my friend!"
With that another battle started...same music as before. Same everything...except when Blue sent out his Raticate it was level 100, and my pikachu was still level 10. The rain, which has affected the battle field was still in affect, but the text read as "Loneliness is crying." I chose to use thundershock.
"Raticate used Curse!" The curse animation played as if Raticate was a ghost type...which after thinking about it for a minuet made sense.. Cutting half of his current HP to lay a curse on Pikachu. When I tried to use thundershock the text read: "Foe Raticate cannot be hit..." at first I was surprised..then again...you can't hit something that is truly dead.. the rain affecting the battle text read "Tears fall on the battle field." Then the curse doing damage read:
"Pikachu is in agonizing pain.."
At this point I knew how this would ends..seeing as I couldn't do anything to his Raticate. This went on until Pikachu eventually fainted from the curse.. as the text read "Pikachu Died!"
The normal text of the player losing a battle popped up..but instead of paying money the text read "Red is seeing darkness..........It's over!"
The screen faded to black as text popped up.
"Loneliness's voice echoed in the darkness.......but no one heard it."
I turned the game off breathing heavily and I took a minuet. After gathering myself and finally calming down I head downstairs but to my surprise mom was gone. I went into the kitchen to find a note on the table. "Sorry sweetie I'm out at the moment. Dinner is in the microwave. I'll be back later tonight. Love you! Signed Mom."
I ate dinner then when trying to go to bed..I myself had a strange dream...I was...floating....in pure darkness....I tried calling for help......but no one heard...
