Chapter 14: Enlightenment

"Skylar you're not ok." Isaac sighed.

"Look Isaac if I say I'm fine that means I'm fine." I growled at Isaac.

Isaac still worried about me which I liked but also hated. Derek had told me the truth about my tattoo, about what Peter did to me. He only told me small parts but what I knew was that Peter was using me, he was draining my life to preserve his. Peter was going to come back and he'll take his life from me and I'll die.... Everyone knew that now, they all knew I was weakening now and that I would die. No one was sure though that Peter would come back so they were holding on too that. I didn't like everyone being so protected with me.

I had to continue like everything was ok and unfortunately that meant having to do P.E, climbing the wall. I was waiting in the line with Isaac who wouldn't leave me alone.

"But the tree." Isaac sighed and took my arm to look at the tree. I was only in a pair of short tight shorts and a tight sports short sleeve shirt so you could see my tattoos and my tree mark.

"It's kind of like beauty and the beast." I laughed. "You know, whenever all the leaves fell of the beasts rose, he died."

"It's not the same, love saved the beast." Isaac remarked.

Love saved the beast.....

"Next!"

I sighed and stepped forward to climb the wall. Isaac joined me. We sorted ourselves out then began to climb the wall together.

"What if there was a way? To save you?" Isaac thought.

"There's not." I sighed. "Isaac I'm not scared so why are you?"

"Because I can't lose you Sky." Isaac sighed.

I reached the top scaled down to the bottom without saying anything to Isaac. He followed my trial and. We both faced the coach.

"Good, good." Coach nodded then looked at me. "Tattoos aren't encouraged in school."

"That's funny cause I know you have one on the left side of your back." I said out of nowhere to the coach.

I didn't know that! It just came out! I never knew coach had a tattoo but he clearly did by the look on his face. The class laughed but I kept my mouth shut.

"Just go get changed Stilinski." Coach snarled.

I rushed past coach before I said something else stupid. Isaac pushed past everyone and caught up with me.

"Sky talk to me, please!" Isaac begged.

"I love you Isaac but I'm glad I get to die." I sighed finally speaking to him.

"How could you say that?" Isaac asked me.

"I'm glad it's me because then it's not somebody else. It could have been somebody else I loved, it could have been Stiles, or Scott or you..." I sighed. "I wouldn't swap places with anybody right now because this is my destiny, I'm the witch (or whatever thing I am), Peter knew I had the power, I just need to know when he wants to come back so I can say goodbye..."

"Skylar how could you give up so easily!" Isaac raised his voice.

"I'm not giving up!" I raised my voice as well. "Isaac I didn't say I wanted to die. I'm not ready but I will die and I can accept it, it's time you did too."

"I promise I'll find a way to save you." Isaac took my hand.

"It would be easy if I wasn't around." I turn my head away.

Isaac put his hand on my cheek and made me look at him then he kissed me.....

"If you weren't around, I couldn't do that." Isaac smirked.
