Tessa's Pov: When Caroline shoots the gun, it seems like slow motion when I see the bullet coming for me. I try to prepare to be in pain but then I see someone jump in front of me. It's Chance.

Tessa: "Chance, no no! Why would you do that!?"

*Tessa starts screaming and crying. 911 arrives a few seconds to late to have stopped Caroline, they shoot Caroline and go to help Chance.*

Tessa: "PLEASE HELP HIM, PLEASE PLEASE."

Police Officer: "I am going to need you ma'am to step away from the injured man."

Tessa: "No, no is he dead!?"

*Anthony goes to grab Tessa and pull her back from Chance.*

Tessa: "Anthony, stop stop!!"

Anthony: "Yo Tessa it's going to be okay."

*Everyone is crying and Anthony is trying to stay to calm Tessa down, but that was his best friend right there, shot, unconscious.*

Tessa: "NOOOO!!!"

*Anthony loses his grip on Tessa and Jake goes to run and grab her.*

Jake: "Tessa I need you to calm down."

Tessa: "I-I can't!"

*At this point Anthony and Jake are holding Tessa back while the medics are putting Chance on the stretcher.*

Medic: "Can I talk to someone who will stay calm if I give them instructions on what to do."

Jake: "I think that would be me."

*The medic and Jake go to the side where no one else is at.*

Medic: "At this point, your friend Chance Sutton is unconscious and we are trying to stabilize him as we speak, he doesn't look to be in the best condition. I don't recommend all of you coming to the hospital especially his screaming girlfriend."

Jake: "Yes I understand."

Medic: "I've got to get going now."

*Jake walks back over to Tessa and the rest of team 10*

Jake: "The medic said that all of us shouldn't go to the hospital if we aren't stable. But Chance is family so we're all going. Tessa you have to calm down though."

Tessa: "O-okay."

Anthony: "Tessa can I let you go now? Or are you going to act like a crazy women again?"

Tessa: "I just want a hug."

*Tessa hugs Anthony and eventually everyone runs to the van and drives to the hospital.*

Jake: "Okay let's go."

*Team 10 walks into the hospital still tears in their eyes and hopes Chance is going to make it out of this alive.*

Front desk lady: "Hello, are you looking for a patient?"

Jake: "Yes, Chance Sutton."

Front desk lady: "He has just gone in to emergency surgery to attempt to take the bullet wounds out."

Jake: "Did the doctor give any information about his chances?"

Front desk lady: "The computer data he typed in says he gives him a 50% chance of living."

Tessa: "OH MY GOD WHY HE HAS TO LIVE!"

*Tessa starts screaming and balling her eyes out.*

Anthony: "Okay we're going outside now."

Tessa: "NOOOO!!"

Jake: "Good idea."

Erika: "I-I'll come with."

*Anthony picks up Tessa and brings her outside with Erika shortly behind them, Tessa is trying to escape from Anthony's arms but his grip is to strong.*

Anthony: "Tessa I am it letting you go until you calm tf out."

Tessa: "Please Anthony I need to see Chance!"

Anthony: "Tessa Chance is in surgery, remember?"

*Tessa just keeps crying and it seems like there is nothing anyone can do.*

Erika: "Tessa, he will be okay, we just have to wait and see, okay?"

Tessa: "I guess."

*Anthony let's Tessa go and she sits against the wall crying into her hands. Anthony and Erika go to the side to talk.*

Anthony: "I have never seen Tessa this fu***d up before."

Erika: "Me either, she never ever acts like this."

Anthony: "I really hope he's okay."

*Anthony starts to tear up.*

Erika: "Awe Tony, he will be, it's going to be okay.."

*Erika hugs Anthony and Anthony gets a call.*

Anthony: "Hello?"

Anonymous: "You left the little bit** out of your sight and look what happens. You get to choose, it's either her and Chance's life. What are you going to choose best friend?"
