Dick Grayson was already making plans for his unofficial mission to investigate the relation between the tech robberies and Jack Haley's circus. His old ringmaster's circus was on the line, and Dick would do what he could to save it. The mission would require the team to go undercover as the "Daring Dangers" an act composed of aerial acrobatics, archery, and strength, performed by a "family" called the Dangers. M'gnn would be Dawn, Artemis Diane, Superboy Dean, Red Arrow Dane, and Robin Dan. He hoped old Jack wouldn't recognize him when he was disguised as Dan Danger. The team would need to be debriefed, stat. First, he needed their costumes from his room. He rushed up the stairs, in his hurry slamming right into Bruce Wayne's broad, sculpted chest.

"Where are you going in such a rush?"

Taken by surprise, Dick stammered, "I - I was, uh, going to see the team, and - and I need my, uh, suit."

Bruce raised an eyebrow, but gestured behind him indicating that Dick was free to go. Dick ran past him, the raven-haired protege raising his hand in a half salute before skidding into his bedroom. He slung the duffel over shoulder after slipping into his Robin suit.

He zeta-ed to the cave and called a team meeting. Kalder was out, helping Aquaman with something in Atlantis. He quickly explained the mission, leaving out his personal reason to help out the circus. Kid Flash couldn't come, he had decided. He had neatly made sure that KF wasn't around when he debriefed the team. Robin wasn't about to have his best pal questioning his objectivity. He tossed the duffel bag into to the middle of their small circle, becoming lost in thought.

Robin pictured his last day at the circus; he and his parents were flipping through the air, soaring effortlessly with the grace that was to be expected with practice. The dark floor of the tent loomed beneath, nothing between them and the certain death that would come if they fell...

Red Arrow was talking to him. What was he saying? Robin replied to what Roy was most likely asking. "We've got it covered."

Roy leaned in until he could whisper into Robin's ear. "You've got the mission covered, but who's got the three potential mole suspects you're bringing along?"

Robin, convinced there was no mole, grimaced. He waved Roy off, nodding his assent.

I plan to publish about twice a week until the "episode" and aftermath is completed.

My apologies for the shortness of it. I'm planning to alternate between short and long parts.

Thanks.
