Panic

Robin stood on the trapeze platform, sweating and groaning inwardly. He swayed a bit, and M'gnn asked him across the mind link, Hey, are you alright?

He replied telepathically, Yeah, I just caught that twenty four hour bug that's been going around the circus.

Haley gave them the cue to start, and Robin soared across the stage, his weakened arms and sweaty palm having trouble holding on to the bar of the trapeze. He felt the panic return as he let go to fly to the other podium and Jack was saying, "... all performed without a net."

Robin reached for M'gnn's hand so she could propel him to the platform but came up short, falling slowly through the empty air. He was dimly aware of shouting "Don't blow our cover," down the link, but his memories gripped him with a panic so strong it was all he could do to keep from visibly showing emotion. He managed to keep his body completely void of emotion, mindlessly continuing with the routine. His mind was a whirlwind of painful memories; Tony Zucco, pouring acid over the trapeze ropes to weaken them; Jack Haley, announcing the Flying Graysons proudly; his parents, swinging across the black void; the snap! of the ropes as his parents were lost to the pit; the panic as he was left alone all of a sudden in a strange world.

They had finished the act, and Robin found himself standing weakly on the sawdust floor of the ring. Help me backstage, he said to M'gnn down the link. His mind was still whirling when Interpol began to question them. The man cleared them, then stalked off the argue with Haley. Robin was shaking, terrified of the fact that the show would be repeated until they solved the connection and cleared the circus.

Again, super sorry for the fact that it's super short. It's just that it changes positions in the story so often.
