2. The dinner

(Gabriella's POV)
me and my family got ready and started heading over there around 6:55. we got to the Braungardt's house and we went inside and sat down and Tanner was sitting right beside. Great... we ate dinner and i thought it was pretty cool but after dinner we just talked about each other and all. "so Gabriella..." i cut Tanner off, "just call me Faith please." i said and looked down. "oh okay well Faith what do you like to do in your spare time?" Tanner asked. "well, i love softball and i like to sing and act, and also i do cheer." i'm still looking down at this point because i don't really like to talk about myself a lot. "oh wow that's cool." he smiled and i just so happened to look up and see and blushed a little but quickly put my head back down. "Excuse me, mom can i go outside and get some fresh air?" i said and looked at her with a 'please let me go now!' look and she nodded. i got up to go outside and decided to sit on the grass and sing a little. "Knew we would crash at the speed that we were going, didn't care if the explosion ruined me!" i heard footsteps behind me and turned around to find Tanner with a big smile plastered across his face. i felt so embarrassed cause i felt like i couldn't really sing good that's why i never sung in front of anyone or intended too. i looked down but i could see where he had sat in front of me. "you know you sing amazing right?" i shook my head no. he lifted me chin up to where i was looking at him. "can i just call you Gabriella or something like that?" i just looked at him and nodded. "okay Gabs, i think you sing amazing and should enter into the talent show at our school!" he said. i just laughed. i didn't think i could do it, i didn't want to be laughed at..again. "i might, i don't know yet.." he said okay and we both went back inside but turns out my family was leaving. we said our goodbyes to everyone and then it was me and tanners turn to say goodbye. we hugged and i swear there  were like a spark or something went through my body.. i should just forget it. my family and i walked back to my house and i went downstairs to my bathroom and jumped into the shower and then went to bed.
(MORNING)
i woke up and checked my phone. it was 6:54 am so i just decided to sit in my bed and go on my phone. i went on Instagram and saw that tanner posted the picture me and him took last night, (did i forget to mention that 😏) and it was captioned "lovely night with a lovely girl.😍" i smiled to myself and went scrolling through the comments,
"are they dating?!?!"
"please tell me they be dating!"
"she's hot."
"tanner got lucky"
and so many more. some were positive and some were negative but you know you gotta shake it off. i got a text from tanner.

G- hey? what's with the hearts??
T- idk.. can i not send hearts? :(
G- no no!! sorry if i came off wrong but of course you can! 💗💗
T- haha i'm just messing wit u . so wanna come over?
G- yea sure i'll be over in 10

i grab my phone and change into a black crop top and some black PINK leggings and some white converse. (outfit below)

i told my mom that i was going over to tanners and she didn't care. i walked over there and knocked on the door. a shirtless tanner opened the door and i couldn't help but stare. "do you like what you see?" he smirked and i rolled my eyes and walked in. "let's go down to my room." he took my hand and led me downstairs to his room. i walked into his room and sat on his little beanbag thing and he sat next to me. i looked at him and he shrugged his shoulders then smirked. "oh crap i forgot to do my blog today. you mind if your in it?" he asked me. "nah i don't mind." he sat down next to me with his camera and i just went to put my headphones on and listen to some music. i was bobbing my head all around and totally forgot Tanner was there and was recording, i was dancing all around his room now and the. i noticed two pairs of arms wrap around my waist and turn around to find Tanner swaying with me. i gave him one of my headphones and the song "All of Me" by John Legend came on and i slowly put my arms around his neck and he put his all around my waist. we were swaying to the music, and i put my head his chest and could his heartbeat. the song ended and we just looked at each other and then i hugged him. i wanted to never let go so i just stayed in his arms. that's where i felt safe, was with him. we stayed there for i don't know how many minutes but he finally pulled away and started at me. "are you okay?" he asked and i shook my head no. "tell me what's wrong Gabs." i took a deep breath and i just hope he was prepared for what i was about to say. "i have a lot of panic and anxiety attacks, and they're bad sometimes. sometimes to the point where i have to go to the hospital or something. i'm really depressed and i feel like i'm just too weak for the world yet i love all the sports and everything else i do. i have a diagnosis of kirkyulosses which means my spine and lower part of my back can snap at any moment or something else. but i have a lot of other stuff that happened in the past that are just little things now, but those are the two important and high risked things i guess." i was out of breath at that point so i took a couple of big deep breaths. he placed his hand on mine and intertwined our fingers. i looked up and he kissed me. i didn't have time to think so i just kissed back. it was a sweet and small kiss that felt like the most beautiful thing in the world to me. i smiled and laughed and he smiled. "Gabriella Faith. i think your perfect just the way you are and all of those things don't matter to me. i will do everything i can to keep you from pain." i smiled and hugged him. i got a text from my mom that she wanted me home for some exciting news. i texted her back okay and told tanner that i had to go. i went out of his room but he grabbed my wrist. "you forgot something." he told me. "oh what di--" i was cut off by him smacking his lips on mine. it was just a brief kiss but it was so magical (i know i'm so cheesy!!) i went home and me and my siblings all gathered into the living for my moms "exciting news". my mom and a man walk into the room holding hands. "kids, this is.....
