2.) Welcome Back Dusker

Today is going to be normal Ethan thought as he entered the school building. He walked up to his locker and put his fingers on the lock. As he was spinning the lock, Sarah came up behind him. "Hey Ethan!" He jumped and quickly spun around. "Oh, sorry," she told him. "It's okay, everything is just louder," he reassured her. "You're coming over tonight, right?" Sarah nodded.

As the halls cleared, Sarah and Ethan were the only ones left. "We should probably hurry up and get to class," Ethan pointed out. All of a sudden, two guys appeared in front of them.

These guys were bigger than Ethan and Sarah, in height and in muscle. One of them had darker skin. "Aw look, the fledgling is hanging out with her new fledgling boyfriend," the one with lighter skin harassed. Ethan's face turned bright red. Sarah flashed her fangs,"What do you what do you want?"

"We want your boyfriend," the guy with dark skin answered. "I don't swing that way," Ethan joked, trying to make light of the situation. The guys both rolled their eyes. Ethan's heart was racing, but he still tried to stay as calm as possible.

"You may not realize it now, but you're dangerous and powerful. If you drink human blood, we don't know what you could be capable of." Ethan hissed and lunged at them. Sarah grabbed him, but she had a hard time keeping him back. They both suddenly stopped when they saw a trail of green mist in front of them. The green mist then went inside the light skinned guy, who then attacked his friend next to him. Sarah and Ethan both took off, leaving the two guys alone.

"It smelled evil," Ethan described the mist. He was sitting in his bedroom with Rory and Benny, trying to figure out what this mist was and how to get rid of it. He zoned out as Benny and Rory were talking. The two vampires said he's "dangerous and powerful"? How is he dangerous? He's just a 15 year old boy. He became a vampire to hopefully save the girl he loves, he never wanted this.

"Ethan? ETHAN!" Benny snapped in his fingers in front of his face. "Sorry, I zoned out," he apologized. "Are you hungry?" Rory started rambling. "Because when I'm hungry I usually go chase down a rat or something. I would love to bite Erica though, she's just so foxy-" Rory was interrupted when Benny threw the nearest book at him. "Just go pee and shut up!" Rory took Ethan's cup and stormed out.

"Are you okay?" Benny asked. "The two guys at the school told me that I'm dangerous and powerful. That they don't know what I could be capable of if I drank human blood," Ethan told him. "Easy, just don't drink human blood!" Benny said. Ethan shook his head,"The urge is too strong, I feel it getting worse everyday. I know that if I see it, I'm done."

Ethan, Benny, and Rory stormed into the Vampire Council. Sarah turned around and looked relieved. A little girl stepped down from the podium. "Get rid of that fledgling, now," she demanded. Ethan hissed, but two guys still grabbed him anyway. "Why is he so dangerous? He wouldn't hurt anyone!" Sarah demanded to know.

"Do you remember what happened not that long ago?" The little girl asked. Benny looked around,"You have to be more specific." Getting frustrated, the girl continued,"Ethan here was scratched by a werewolf and transformed under a full moon." Ethan shook his head,"I was cured that night." The girl was moving closer to Ethan. "Yes, but some things can never truly go away. The potion you drank only put that side of you to rest, but it never truly died. When Jessie bit you and Sarah didn't save you, the risk of that side fully awakening again heightened. If you drink human blood, that side will wake up again."

Ethan felt like he was going to pass out. "I won't drink human blood, I promise." She shook her head,"But you will. Your urges are strong, aren't they? That side wants to be awake. It's why we need to get rid of you as soon as possible."

Sarah felt anger welling up inside of her. She hissed and lunged at her. Erica reacted quickly and grabbed her. "You can't do that! He's innocent!" Just then, the green mist came back. It slowly crept and made its way into Ethan. He flashed his fangs and yellow eyes. He looked at Rory and made his way over. "Ethan! It's me! Your best friend, Rory!" He pleaded. As he was trying to fight Ethan off, Benny grabbed the cup and said the spell.

The mist made its way out of Ethan and into the cup. Benny clasped the lid on top, trapping it.

The council looked relieved, yet irritated. "Fine, we won't kill Ethan. If Benny can save us from that, he can keep Ethan away from human blood." Sarah ran over to Ethan and embraced him with a hug.

Jane had been put to bed, so it was quiet. Sarah and Ethan were chilling on the couch, watching a movie. "You know Sarah, you never denied me being your boyfriend today," Ethan pointed out. She laughed and threw popcorn at him,"I was more focused on trying to save you." They both laughed and continued to watch the movie.
