chapter eleven//she's perfect.

a/n:

I have changed Everly's character from Katherine Langford to Dove Cameron. i didn't really like Katherine playing this roll and as I wrote the story, in my head I pictured everly as dove. what do you think? leave a comment! -josi.

"wait up ev!" Mila calls from the lunch line. she catches up to me and we walk over to the table with the rest of the girls. we sit down and suddenly all the talking and giggling at the table stopped and all their eyes were on me with suspicious smiles on their faces. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "umm hi guys." I laughed. "why are you guys looking at me like that?" i asked.

they all sent small smiles to each other when Ariana finally looked at me and excitedly said "whats going on with you and Dylan?"

I playfully rolled my eyes and slouched down in my seat. "how do you guys even know about that?" I asked, shooting a gaze to serenity who looked guilty.

"oh come on you can't expect to tell me something like that and me not tell the rest of us!" she exclaimed, making me laugh.

"well come on guys I don't think Bella wants to hear about that so-"

"no! no, I- I wanna hear." she cut me off. I smiled at her and sat back up in my seat.

"okay well um i... he's amazing! he's so caring and considerate and I love how cute and innocent he is and just...ugh." they all looked at me blissfully, sighing.

"I'm so happy for you." Chelsea cooed.

"yeah Dylan's so cute!" Rowan exclaimed.

"hold on what?" bella asked in surprise, nearly choking on her food.

"yeah I mean come on I think all of us has had a crush on him at one time or another." rowan laughed.

"really?" Bella questioned.

the girls all exchanged looks showing that what rowan said was true and we all began to laugh. "wow I did not expect that." I laughed.

-Dylan's pov.

"hey don't you have a new girlfriend?" my friend Justin asked with his eye still glued to the video game on the t.v.

"yeah why?" i asked curiously, still violently pressing the buttons to my controller.

"how's that going?"

"great. why are you all of a sudden interested in my love life?"

"because you haven't had one until now." he teased.

"ha ha very funny. do you not remember my three month relationship with Alli?"

"no i do. oh my gosh three months! sooo long." he joked.

"it's longer than any of your relationships." I shot back.

"You ain't lying."

"Anyways, I feel different about this one. Everlys.. different."

"That's what you said about Alli. I still can't believe you two had-"

"Can we not talk about that please?" I cut him off. Okay yes, I admit, me and Alli did have sex, but in my defense I thought we were gonna last a lot longer than three months.

"Alright bro. So what makes Everly so different?" He continued.

"I mean... She's just amazing. She's smart, and funny, and beautiful. She's like..perfect."

"Don't get all sappy on me and shit." He laughed.

I playfully punched him in the arm and turned my attention back to the screen. "Whatever man."

"How's this look?" I asked, turning to Jenna. we decided to go shopping after school because Dylan said we're going on another date tomorrow night and it's going to be fancy, so I'm trying to find a nice dress. the one I have on now is plain black, long sleeved V-neck.

"eh. its okay, but its so basic. you need something with a little more detail." she explained.

"well yeah but I'm on a budget. nothing over a hundred dollars." I reminded her. since I'm not living with brady anymore I'm a little short on money. I'm making some, just not as much as I use to.

"this dress is only fifty. I'm sure you can find something with a little more detail that you can afford."

I nodded my head and went back into the dressing room. i changed back into my regular clothes and walked back out to the store to look for more clothes.

I searched through the racks and shelves until I finally found this beautiful red V-neck dress with long lace sleeves. "Jenna how's this?" I asked. she peeked her head over the rack and walked over to me, looking the dress up and down. "no." she said bluntly.

"what?! why?" I asked.

"I don't know. I'm just not feeling the vibes."

"okay hippie." I remarked.

"stop being sassy and go try this on." she demanded, handing over a gorgeous black mini dress with a lace neck line and folds going down the end.

"this is so pretty Jenna." I cooed.

"exactly. Dylan would love it. go try it on." she said.

"okay!" I squealed, snatching the dress from her hands and running back to the dressing room.

I quickly shut the door behind me and slipped off my clothes, replacing them with the dress. I slid the dress on and turned to the mirror. I rotated my body in all angles to make sure it fit right in all my curves. after I decided I liked how it looks on me, I turn and walk out of the dressing room.

as soon as i walk out Jenna's attention immediately turns to me as she gasps and twirled her finger in the air in order for me to spin and show her all angles.

"you..look..so.. Awesome!" she squealed.

"you think Dylan will like it?" I asked.

"if he doesn't you need a new boyfriend who does." she said.

"yay okay!" I clapped my hands in a sign of happiness and darted back into the dressing room, changing back into my clothes.
