"Clocking out this soon?"Jongin asks as he leans against the wall and puts my card back in its place.
It is 7pm, I was supposed to leave at 11pm but Jongin offered to work in my place and close for me. He has only been here for a week and acts like he owns the place, which is not a bad thing. Jongin helps around with all the errands, counts the money whenever we close, wipes up coffee off the ground when old women drop it, and he's extremely charming which means he gets more tips. I hang up my apron and look at him, he's in the same position; arms crossed, legs crossed, with his back against the wall and a subtle smirk on his face.
The bell rings indicating a customer walked in, he runs to the register and greets them. I decide it is best that I leave instead of saying goodbye like I always do, I walk out the door and let Jongin attend the customer that just appeared. I look down at my feet and skip a rock or two while I waited for the light to change so I can cross the street."ANNA!" I hear someone shout behind me, Jongin is sprinting with a cup in his hand. He finally makes it up to me and hands me a small cup with my name written on it.
"Jongin what are you doing." I question, unsure on what he's doing with a coffee cup in his hand, he rarely makes me coffee.
"I figured you're really tired and need a pick me up." He smiles.
I nod and thank him, he walks away without saying another word. That boy is so weird.

"He handed me the coffee without another word."
"That was it?" Xiumin chuckles in disbelief, he prances around the kitchen while Chen works on paperwork for his upcoming project. They're complete opposites but they get along so well it is crazy.
"He should come over for dinner sometime, maybe like next week." Chen puts his pen in his mouth meaning he's thinking of an idea. Xiumin points at Chen and claps, he wants to make my life as miserable as Chen insists. I shake my head but Xiumin begs to let Jongin have dinner with us.
"Noona please." He gets on his knees in front of me and flashes a big smile, expecting that to work.
"You guys... no," I kick xiumin away from me.
"I barely know him." Chen has a disappointed look on his face, he closes his binder and cautiously walks over to me. Chen wraps his small arms around my shoulders.
"Oh Annita, how long has it been since men other than us have cared for you like that?"
Chen winks at me."What do you mean?"
"He made you coffee!" Xiumin shouts in my face, trying to get something so simple through my head. It was absolutely harmless and a platonic action nothing was meant by that exchange.
"So?"
"He likes you."
Chen lets go of me and turns my chair around so I can face him. Xiumin stands next to Chen, they both cross their arms expecting a smart response from me.
"I don't think so." I try to turn my chair around but Chen stops me.
"I will literally go to your work and drag him to our house if I have to." Chen points towards the door, when he says that he's being serious. He's a man of his word and if his word includes embarrassing me, he will stick by it.
"Chen, I barely know him..." I say while walking towards the living room couch, Chen swoops by and grabs my hand.
"Get to know him better..here.. in front of us." Chen smiles as he puts my hand against his warm cheek, I pull back and throw myself on the couch. Chen walks away and goes back to working on his assignment. Xiumin creeps behind me and puts his arms around my shoulders, softly setting his chin above my head."what time do you get off tomorrow?"
"8pm" I sigh
"I will cook and you bring that little friend of yours, I'll make sure Chen cleans the house before going to school." Xiumin whispers in my ear, I giggle and push him away with my shoulder. He kisses my forehead and walks off.
I guess inviting Jongin for dinner wouldn't be the worse thing in the entire world.
