Ellen

I mixed the foam around with my coffee straw before Sori-na's loud slurping sounds caught my attention.
"So let me get this straightㅡ" she began as she threw her empty coffee cup in the brown paper bag that had previously carried our over-priced breakfast biscuits.
"You have to marry mister mobster to get out of this mess?" she blatantly spoke out.

I choked on my drink taken aback by her way of assuming I would marry Yoongiㅡ yes, I loved him but to get married? I wasn't ready for thatㅡneither of us were and it probably wasn't something to think about considering the situation we were in.

"Okay firstㅡgetting married was ONE of the options and second don't be saying that out loud it's not safe for anyone else to hear and start assuming such things" I stood up from the bed and peeked out the door quietly shutting it.

"Oh c'mon nobody else is here except for the house attendants and I'm pretty sure they already know you and Yoongi-ssi are pretty seriousㅡbesides what other option is there? Running your father's empire?"

I nervously chewed on my straw instead of responding. She had a point considering the rumors of Yoongi's relationship quickly spreading on the news but marriage?
I highly doubt that's even something Yoongi wants in his future right now or ever his business and the family are his priority.

"Ok then if marriage is off the tableㅡ for now" she began as I raised my eyebrow at her last comment "then are you actually planning to carry on your late father's empire?"

I shrugged feeling cornered by her question, to be honest I had not fucking idea of what I was going to do. She was right I did have the choice of running my father's family and take responsibility for the mess he left of it but that meant living with a green light on my head not just from Sung Soo and his "sons" but also from international syndicates.

"Who is this man anyways?" she insisted after a moment of silence.

"Sung Soo? Apparently he's the head of the third family and "father" to Eunho and my brother" I sat on the edge of the bed letting myself fall back onto the mattress.

"Is it that fat man that was at the meeting the night of the casino shooting you never told me about?" she rolled her eyes attempting to make me feel bad.

"Yesㅡwait how do you know about that?" I sat up  curiously looking at her.

"Namjoon told me..." she shrugged as she disposed of the trash into the bin by the door, leaning on the wall afterwards "so anyways this all ends up with you getting married or becoming a leader yourself and killing the nasty man and his gang?"

"Yesㅡ" I sighed "Yoongi obviously doesn't want to pressure me and told me to think about it but I know I have to act fast or more people will end up hurt because of me".

There was another moment of silence.

"Do you really think they had anything to do with his grandfather's death?" Sori whispered as if the volume of her voice mattered now.

"I do and I know Yoongi does as wellㅡI mean car accident? That car was a gift from Yoongiㅡ brake failure seems impossible and besides not to long ago they had to leave their home because of "some men" dropping by asking for information: it all adds up".
I felt goosebumps just imagining the reasons why they knew so much not just about us but his family too.

"Namjoon did tell me that a lot of the business was getting messed with more often than before so it's no surprise they know about other things" she finished as soon as I interrupted.

"This is too stressful to think about, ever since that meeting at the hotel's casino things have started to shake up..." I rubbed my temples with both hands before glancing at Sori-na "wait you and Namjoon seem to be getting close what's the deal there?"

She looked away avoiding a straight answer "We just work together a lotㅡ"

"Whatever you say..." I teased as I finished the last of my drink "where is he anyways?"

"He was actually meeting Koosung today so he dropped me off before, seemed important" she shrugged her shoulders.

Koosung

"Oh my god!" I almost screamed as I dropped my cup spilling the remainder of the liquid onto the floor.

"What?!" Sori almost jumped surprised at my sudden outburst.

"We need to go! Call Namjoon ask him where he's at!" I ran down the stairs out the door ignoring Yuri and the guards as they called after me.

"What's going on Ellen?!" Sori yelled out of breath as she catched up to me and climbed onto the passengers seat of Yoongi's black Range Rover.

"Koosung! I thinkㅡ working for themㅡheard themㅡthe dockㅡtwo men" I stuttered out panicking as I felt for the keys in the glove compartment.

"Hello?" I heard Namjoon's deep voice echo from her cellphone.

"Where are you?" I immediately asked as Sori put him on speaker. I turned the keys starting the engine and sped out the driveway followed by the guards on another SUV.

"Ellen? Are you driving? Isn't Sori-na with you?" he bombarded me with stupid questions only making me grow frustrated.

"Where are you?!" I asked louder as I situated my surroundings and the route into the city.
"Damn calm down! I'm driving on my way to the docksㅡ"
"Turn around now! Don't meet with Koosung!" I interrupted him before he finished.
"What the fuck? Why? Ellen what's going on?" he sound genuinely confused but also annoyed.

"He's working for themㅡthe time I went to the docks for the meeting with Mr. Choi two men were talking about Koosung and some plan.." I exhaled loudly before I continued "look I'm not completely sure and Yoongi doesn't know yet but please just don't go. It can be a setup".

"Okay... okay. I trust you but we need to talk about this and Yoongi needs to know let's meet at the office" Namjoon spoke in a calmer tone.

"Way ahead of youㅡ" I replied as I made a right turn towards downtown.
