Midori

From now on I sit in the bathroom to eat because that's the type of Cowardly personality i have. I leaned my head against the stall door and groaned. I hate myself. I hate myself so much! I could feel my face getting hot. Um such a waste of life. I'm not important to anyone. I dunno what I said or did to that girl I only looked at her!? It's been 3 days since I got beat up. Uugghh. Now I look weak!

"Ben?" A voice called. Wait....What?

" Ben?" it called again. I stood up leaving my sack lunch on the bathroom floor.

"Hello? Are you there? It sounded feminine. I opened the stall door and walked out if the men's bathroom. To be greeted by the girl so called Midori. She bowed quickly. And looked side to side making sure no one was around. "Hi. I-I'm Midori Neko. I uh. Heard that Ren and Lin um. Tried to hurt you. I'm very sorry it was all my fault. She looked me in the eyes. Her cheeks reddening a s if she were to cry any second. I took a step closer to her. Now we were a good 3ft away. Her eyes simmered like Shiny Amethyst.

"He-Hey it's alright."I cleared my throat. I haven't talked to people in a while. "I'm fine! The barely touched me" I smiled to lightened the mood.

Her eyes lit up at the sight of me smile. "You have a pretty smile!" She said chuckling lightly.

"Uh. Thanks." I replied quick not wanting to embarrass myself anymore.

"Oh. Yeah. I told them not to mess with you anymore." She searched for my face.

"Thanks....again?!" I still forced my head down. "but. Uh. how'd you convince to do...not....Uh.....that?!" My head rose to be greeted by a mischievous set of eyes.

"Heh. I have my ways." Then she turned briskly and head to our next class. "C'mon!" She beckoned me toward her.

I quickly caught up to her and we talked, smiled and laughs  the while way there.

I think I've made my first friend.
