Chapter 3

Days passed by just as they supposed to be, school’s just fine more paper works to be done this time— I just got to the Dean’s List J....And so is Harvey…We always bet on things as petty as this—he’s such a child. This whole stupid who-has-the-higher-grade-thing was his idea. We’ve done it since we were first grade and he’s been cheating on me almost all of the time.

 At the cafeteria, that same day...

“I saw the list...” he said teasing. “And you owe me a meal”

“Hey, that’s unfair; you’re on it too” I said pouting.

“No, it’s not that...you’ve higher rank”

“But we’re not from the same college...and besides you have higher average...” but before I could say another word, he went straight to the cashier and said, “Ate, It’s her treat today...she’ll pay for this...”

“HEY—” I bumped into a cute guy, and all the contents of my tray spilled on his shirt.

“Oh my God…Sorry..sorry...I didn’t mean to—” , said panicky

“No, Don’t bother, it’s okay...” he said wiping his shirt with his hanky.

I took a tissue, and helped him wipe his shirt... “No, I’m really sorry,” and Harvey cued in...on the right time... “Hey, Miggy...How are you man? I’ve not seen you around lately...”

“Harvey, Pare, I’ve been busy doing my research for tech Draw...Have you finished yours?”

“I’ve just started it last week...”

Shocked, I said, “You, two know each other?”

The cute one smiled and said, “We’re classmates in Trigo...last sem, and we’re both in the team?”

“Team? What team?”

“Basketball” he answered proudly.

“Basketball? You—you made it to the varsity? ”, asked shocked, “Why didn’t you tell me?” Harvey just smiled.

“Oh, By the way, I’m Miggy, and you are? Harvey’s girlfriend I suppose...”

“NO!” we both said, “She’s a friend, my childhood friend,” he said clearing things out.

“Oh, I see...so see you around the campus...” he said as he walks away

 “Look, I’m sorry for the whole spilling thing—I’m kindda Clumsy and—”

“No, it’s okay, Hannah”

“How’d you—”,

He pointed at my ID. “Bye, see you at the practice, Harv.”

I was wandering through the books at national book store when, “This one’s good” handing me a book of Paolo Coelho—Like a Flowing River. “Miggy? Hey...What are you doing here?”

“Stalking you” he said coolly. “What?” he laughed and said, “No...I came here to buy ink...for my tech pen...I saw you and...”

             He accompanied me for the next couple of hours, we talked about anything in the world even if we do not actually understand each other—he’s from engineering department and I’m in Nat Sci. “Ahm...Hannah, can we do this again? I mean...let’s go out sometimes, eat together, go to a bookstore...do your assignments? Go to the library...Anything...” he said, “I’m sorry, it was my first time to ask someone out so—”

“You mean—you’re asking me for a date?”

“Well, that’s exactly, what I was about to tell you?” he said laughing, nervously.

“You are asking me for a date?” I said laughing... “You—”

“Yes...say yes...” he said. I just smiled in return.

That very same day, my very best-est friend ever came and made my day complete.

“Hey, I heard you are going out with Miggy,” he said teasing me.

“He asked me out...I said yes...” I said coolly.

“What? You said yes that easy? Why’d you do that? Why did you not ask me first? Wha—”

Yey! I can feel the tension rising... “Why should I tell you? Are you my dad? Besides you knew him first, he’s a good friend of yours anyway...Why would I not date him? ”

“It’s your first time to going out...you’ve never dated anyone before! I’m just—”

“I know the mechanics of dating—I learned it from you...” I said teasing him.

“Just shut-up and listen to me okay?”

“Blah-blah-blah-blah...”

Pissed off he said, “Do it your way then...I’m going” he walked out of my room and slammed the door. Bang...there he goes...there he goes again...haha

“Hey...aren’t you going to have dinner first? Mama prepared Adobo for you...”

“I lost my appetite--bye”

“Bye...take care...love you” I said laughing. I won!! Yey!!!

Nicole? ah~ yung kaibigan ng pinakamamahal naming bunso na nagbabasa neto.. Pakilala mo Bunso pag-uwi namin ni Nie hah? Hihihi.. Nicole, Thank you hah? :3

Short update po. Sorry. But hey, may bagong guy na dumating. 

Nagcomment si ate Happyicy. hohoho. Kinikilig ako. Thanks po. Really.  Nakita ko siyang nag-comment sa last chapter and I was like, "BREATHE BOKSHIL! BREATHE!". Ohmygosh talaga! AT para sayo po ulit ituuu~ plus a very warm HUG! ( ^o^)/ *HUGS~ HUGS* <3
