Mc:  “Today is the best day ever! I can’t believe that I get to go to Italy!” - I work for a magazine company and my boss just told me that I have been chosen to go to Italy and write about anything I learn about the country. - MC: “It’s a good thing that I picked up a little bit of Italian in school, but I’m not sure if it’s enough to have a real conversation in Italy.” I only know simple greetings and responses. I better get an Italian dictionary just in case….I wonder what Italy has in store for me *sighs*

– The next day I arrive in Abruzzo, Italy-

Mc: “ Great! My first few minutes in Italy and I’m already lost! I’m here and I have no idea how I’m gonna get to my new apartment! My phone died, I forgot to charge it! C-Crap, what street am I on again? All I know is that I’m near the Abruzzo airport.*sighs* Ok, just calm down and ask around maybe someone will understand my terrible Italian.” I pull out my dictionary and spot a man with dark brown hair and green eyes. Hey, he’s kinda cute. I tap him lightly on the shoulder.

Mc: “U-Um mi scusi (excuse me).”

Romano: “Kyah! Non mi toccare bastardo (don’t touch me, bastard).” I don’t know what he said but he sounds mad.

Romano: “Eh? Bella Signora (beautiful woman).” After turning around and looking at my face he somehow seems calmer now. He then stares at my dictionary.

Romano: “Oh! You can’t speak Italiano?

Mc: “you don’t have to be so surprised.”

Romano: “I was just wondering why someone would come to a country without learning the language.”

Mc: “P-pardon me?” Gosh this guy’s a jerk at least he understands my language.

Romano: “Did you need something?”

Mc: “um I’m lost, can you help me.” The man shows me the way, and then I get going.

MC: “Maybe he isn’t so bad, he did help me after all, but I didn’t catch his name. Oh well, we’ll probably never meet again.”

-After I finish unpacking, I head over to Rome.-

And now I have no idea what to go see first. I stare at my map trying decide where to go.

Romano: “huh, are you seriously lost again? Heh, what an idiota!” It was that man with dark brown hair and green eyes.

Mc: “I’m not lost! I’m just trying to decide where to go first. W-Why are you here anyway?”

Romano: “why?”

Mc: “I mean why are you in Rome?” Abrozzo is miles away from here, and it’s such a coincidence that we both happen to be in Rome at the same time! Is he stalking me!?

Romano: “how rude! This is my home. I can be where I want!”

Mc: “Y-your home?”

Romano: “Yes, Italia is my home.” Well I guess he has a point. He’s probably been living in Italy his whole life.

Romano: “A-are you coming or not?” He says blushing.

Mc: “Huh!?”

Romano: “Y-you said that you don’t know where to visit first, so I’ve decided to show you some of the beauties of Italia. N-not that I want to or anything! I just can't let an airhead wander the streets.” He says such rude things, but maybe he’s actually really nice.

Romano: “Gosh! Stop day dreaming! Hurry up, donne distratto (absent minded woman)!”

Mc: “Oh! OK!” He walks fast so I dash to try to catch up with him.

Mc: “By the way, I didn’t catch your name.”
Romano: “My name is Lovino Vargas.”

Mc: “I’m (Y/N).”

Romano: “Hm, a simple name for a plain simple girl.”

MC: “Excuse me!!!” Romano: “I didn’t Mean it like- ugh, never mind!” I change my mind, He just might be a huge jerk. This is gonna be a long day.

-He takes me to a place with three magnificent fountains and some amazing street performers-

Mc: “Whoa!”

Romano: “Ha! This isn’t even close to being the most beautiful of the tourist attractions, but you’re already in awe.”

Mc: “ It may not be the most exciting, but at least it has charm!”

Romano:“This place is Piazza Novona. There used to be a stadium here, it was used mainly for festivals and sports events. Today there are three amazing fountains and it is a popular place to have a cappuccino, shop, and watch street performers.” I take out my notebook and write down the information he’s giving me, I then take a few pictures. Lovino notices and says.

Romano: “Oh yeah, I forgot to ask. What brings you to Italia, are you on vacation?”

Mc: “ah! I’m actually here for a job. I work for a magazine company and I’m here to write about Italy and it’s culture.”

Romano: “Well you’ve got a lot to see then.” He continues walking and I run after him again. Lovino and I go shopping and we watched the street performers, then we visited an Italian café. It soon started to get dark.

Mc: “Today was great! I hope we can do this again!”

Romano: “A-again?”

Mc: “Yeah, if it’s ok with you.”

Romano: “I-it’s not like I have a lot of free time, signora.”

Mc: “Oh yeah, sorry.”

Romano: “Ah! B-but I might b-be able to show you cool places once in a while.”

Mc: “Really?”

Romano: “What do you mean “really?” I said it didn’t I? I meant what I said, damn it!”

Mc: …..

Romano: “J-just give me your number already!”

Mc: “Y-yeah, ok.”

-We exchange numbers and I get back to Abruzzo.-
