SCHOOL OR DOOM

"Maddy get up,you're gonna be late for school" I heard mum say. "Uggh, this is so irritating, of what importance is school? " I grumbled knowing fully well that I was still going to have to go to school. My mum is a kind of person who believes that a child shouldn't be given at least one day off from school. Just to be clear, I hate school.

"Finally, she's down" Alicia murmured "Normal people don't shower under two hours,oh wait I forgot you're not normal"
"Alicia !!" mum warned "And who asked you to time me? I retorted "Oh please" Alicia blurted. In case you don't know, Alicia is my elder sister. We are quite different. OK, we are very different. Alicia is the fashionista She dresses better and all but I'm just simple, but why go through the stress of putting on makeup and skimpy skirts when you could just wear lip gloss, a T-shirt and a pair of jeans. You know?
"Alright Maddy eat up let's hit the road , you're already late. What a good impression to give on your first day" "Oh please mum. You and your use of sarcasm, let's go" I said grabbing my back pack which was lying on the couch. "Ali remember to submit your college application today because after dropping Madea I'm going straight to the company. " Mum, of course I'll remember, it's my application, OK? And till when are you going to continue dropping Maddie at school? I mean for God's sake, she's 16 and in 11th Grade, she's supposed to be able to take herself to school" Alicia blurted "Well I guess we are improving, I mean you just called her Maddie that's an improvement. Alright Ali, bye take care "Mum said "Uggh"Alicia replied. "BYE!!!" I shouted hoping to annoy her "Oh shut up" she replied. I guess it worked 😝😋😜

OK so currently I'm at my new school and the bell just rang so I'm in class now and I think this is math class because the professor just came in with a book that looks like A maths textbook. Wow, it's not enough that I'm angry that school has resumed, now I have maths during first period?. Can this day get any better?
"OK class, welcome back to school. This is a new semester so I assume there are new resolutions. Anyways, some of you are new so welcome to Bridget High. I am Mr Nercobell, you can call me Mr Nerco so please can all the new rodents stand to their feets ? Oops, I'm so sorry I meant students" Oh my God, it does get worse, my maths teacher is a psycho who laughs so hard at his own jokes, Uggh. I stood up like Mr Psychobell said. Wow, thats actually a good nickname for him. Not bad, not bad at all. "OK, we are gonna do the introduction. Let's start from this pretty young lady over here " Mr Nerco said sweetly. Forget the sweetness, as far as he's a maths teacher, he can't be nice. "M.... Me? " I replied dumbly "Yeah" Mr Nerco replied once again sweetly. "O... Oh.. Umm... My name is Madea Simpson. I'm from Houston, Texas. I'm 16 years old and I have a sister and parents, thank you" Really Madea? Thank you? That's just lame. Well a couple of other kids introduced themselves and then we sat down. "OK for you new students, I just want you to know that we do two hours of maths every day" Mr Nerco said "What!!!! " I shouted without even realizing "Yes, young lady now buckle your seat belts and let's go on a two hour ride around maths land" once again he's laughing to his not funny joke all by himself. Is this school or doom??!??? Aaaaagghh!!!!!??!!. OK so basically I had to stay in a class learning a subject which I very much hate for two hours with a man who drives me completely insane with his psycho ways and after that I attended chemistry class and four other classes so school dismisses by 3;00 pm. How suffocating .
I got tired from waiting for mum so I took a cab home. I mean why would I want to stay longer in a place I'm not familiar with and I wasn't really bothered that I made zero friends today because if it was left up to be, I would prefer being friendless till I leave Bridget High.

" Wow, look who decided to stop being a mummy's girl. Why dis you come back alone, too bored? " Alicia teased. I decided to ignore her because arguing with her will only make my situation worse so I ignored her and went upstairs to my room. Well, I did my homework and mum came back and I explained to her why I had to go home on my own and thankfully she understood. Later on, I ate dinner and watched some tv then gave mum a goodnight kiss and headed up to my room. I crawled into my bed, switched off my light and thought to myself ; Well, tommorow is another day. And with that, I dozed off wondering what tommorow will be like. Well, till tommorow comes. 😴😴
