After two hours, the doctor came out of the room. Father ran to the doctor hoping to get good news was breaking out in cold sweat. The doctor looking at him hopelessly and said, "I'm very sorry Mr Chan. We tried our best. My condolences." Upon hearing the sad news, Father fell on his knees he could not imagine living without the love of his life. Sam tears rolled down his cheek.
Two weeks have past, everyday Father would just wake up, feed Sam, sometimes he doesn't even have breakfast. For the whole day, he would stay in his room staring at the picture of Mother, he was obviously in a state of melancholy. Sam regretted making wishes like that because even though Mother hit him, he still loves his mother a lot. Sam hated himself and his decision ever since.
Everything comes with a price.
