Have you ever
Looked up at the starry night sky
And see the stars
Staring down at you?
Did you also notice
That if
You look up at
The stars long enough,
They look like they are
Dangling there
There in the sky?
Like they are streamers
Full of sparkles.
And you just
Reach up and
Try to touch
The glimmering stars.
Then realize
That you can't
Reach them,
Can't touch them
And wish that
You could.
Then you just
Stare and stare
Some more.
Mesmorized
Dumbfounded even
By its glorious glow.
Never removing you eyes
From the starry night sky.
