Knots

Chapter 2

"Hey, Riley" Seth says as he walks in my hospital room with food

"Thank you" I say as he sets down the food on my food tray thingy

"So you can come home tomorrow" He says turning on the TV

"That's great" I say smiling but really not caring

"Riley. I know you know" He says muting the TV and stopping me from eating

"Know what?" I say starting to worry

"Calm down. Gabe told us everything" He says bowing his head

"Us?" I ask what he means by that

"Greg and I" He says raising his head back up

"Please tell me one thing. Why is dad doing this?" I ask him almost starting to tear up a bit

"I don't know. And that what we are going to find out. Have you seen anything. that's useful" He says with some kind of hope in his eyes

"Dad was talking to a grown woman this morning. They were saying since I 'lost' my memory the plan is ready to go"

"Riley thank you" He says hugging me

"What ?" I ask weirded  out a bit

"You're a great spy" He says winking at me and leaving

"Wait" I yell

"Yes?" He says stopping at the door

"Why did Gabe leave me?" I ask shedding a tear or two

"That's something you two need to figure out" He says leaving the room

The next day Seth and Greg take me home. But the whole time in the car they are speaking a different language so I don't 'butt' in.

"You guys hiding stuff is stupid, Your annoying" I say to them as they both look back at me then back on the road

"We don't want you to hear" Seth says

"Obviously, its probably what hoe your doing tonight" I say really pissed off

"Stop it" Seth says getting mad

"Nah. I think its funny how you all expect me to be ok with all of this" I say raising my voice "Its not like I do this on regular bases"

Right as I say that Seth stops the car on the side of the road

"Riley. Get out" Seth says not even looking at me

"Seth" Greg says trying to stop him

"No. Its fine." I say to Greg getting out and starting to walk to home as they pass by me

I mean really. I try to kill myself! And all I get is the same hell I tries to get out of. Even worse the people I trust the most are gone. Mom, Lily and Gabe.

Speaking of Lily. How is Seth so fine with his girlfriend and child being gone. I don't know why we need a plan to get back at dad. I would just kill him.

Wait.

I will kill him.
