Chapter 10

"Greg knows your back" I say to Gabe scared to death

"We should leave. Get out of this hell." Gabe says standing up

"Are you crazy? Im pregnant" I say "I cant leave" 

"We want this baby to be safe right?" Gabe says

"No. Its more dangerous leaving than staying" I say

"Fine, but you have to tell your dad" Gabe says "And I am coming with you"

"Dad?" I say opening my dads front door that was broken into

"Riley, get back" Gabe says walking in the door "Go start the car and stay in there" He says as I walk to the car

I wait in the car for Gabe and I see my dad and a blonde lady walking in the back, it seems they were arguing 

So I walk towards them to listen to them

"You tell her now!" The lady says "He is coming and she needs to leave"

"Who?" I ask slowly walking to them

"Your father" The lady says

"What?" I say looking at her and my dad

"Your real father" My dad says

"Real father?" I say "Ok, but why do I need to leave?" I ask one more question

"Trust me. He is this man who has no heart" The lady says walking away 

"Dad" I say walking to him as he holds me

"What?" He says

"Im glad you arent my real father" I say back up

"Exuse me?" He says

"Who wants a father who killed their own kids mother" I say walking away

"What are you talking about?" He says acting confused like he is innocient

"You shot mom" I yell

"Riley, I never shot your mom" He says honestly "Oh no." He says putting his hands over his head

"HELP!" Gabe yells from inside the house

"Riley. Go, run" He says pushing me to the car "I got Gabe, you keep yourself and those kids safe"

And I drive away.

Kids. He knows?
