INTRODUCTION: How it all began

I had a hard time living in my old hometown. My mom hated everything I would do, but I still love her. After the accident, me, my younger siblings and dad migrated to South Korea. I was in Grade 11 when we migrated.

AUTHORS NOTE: GRADE 11 IS HOW WE SAY IT IN PH. NOT LIKE 11TH GRADE

Dad was the opposite of my mom, he always believed in us. He's now retired from his old job, but he started up a new business in South Korea. Dad's company kept growing while my younger siblings studied hard and I auditioned for SM Entertainment, but I got rejected and joined another entertainment called BigHit Entertainment.

Back when I was still living in the Philippines, I loved kpop, I still do actually. That's the reason why I started dancing. Kpop and Kdramas or K-variety shows helped me during my days when I had depression. Dancing helped me express what I felt. I was so passionate about anything that was related to Korean that I studied about it. Their language, history, culture and food.

"Why did you come to BigHit Entertainment today? What is your reason for coming for the monthly auditions of our industry?"

"First and foremost, I want to be honest. This is not the first entertainment I auditioned for."

"May I ask what entertainment you first auditioned?"

"I first auditioned for SM entertainment."

"Ah, many of our trainees did that too. Many had ridiculous reasons why SM rejected them. May I ask what's yours?"

"They said that I was too small."

"You are quite small Ms. Zapa, it says here in your resume that you're 5 ft. flat, but it doesn't look like you are."

"That's correct I am 5 ft. flat, but because I'm pure Filipino-"

"You're pure Filipino?!"

"Yes."

"Surprisingly, you're quite fluently in our language Ms. Zapa, how come?"

"I'm a huge Kpop fan and I was very passionate about anything related to Korean so I studied about it."

"It also says here that you're fluent in several other languages."

"It has become my hobby po."

"Po?"

"I'm sorry. Po is the way how Filipino's talk politely to elderly's or anyone above our age."

"Ah I see. Okay you may start now."

*cue music*

While dancing, the judges whispers to one another as they watch me dance. I gave out all that I could do. After dancing..

"You seem like you've already trained like a kpop star." some big guy suddenly asks me

"Ah yes, for the past 6 years I've been training or living a life like a kpop star. I wanted to try what it felt like but then I got used to that lifestyle so I just kept doing it."

"Hmm ok thank you for coming today Ms. Zapa, we will email you for an update about your audition." the big guy says as he turns off the video camera

"Thank you very much for letting me audition today." I say as I leave the room and start freaking out cause I finally got to finish the last audition that I planned to do. While jumping up and down and twirling around, I accidentally bumped into this guy.

"Omg I'm so so sorry about that." I say very apologetically and said it in english by accident

"It's- It's okay." He says then bows his head down and continues straight down the hall and into the room where the auditions were held.

~~~~ FAST FORWARD TO FIVE DAYS~~~~

"Ughhh why aren't there any emails yet goooosh." I groan out loud as I kept checking my email but repeatedly keep seeing an empty one

After 30 minutes, I get a notification. And it said "You have received an email."

"OMG OMG OMG OMG COULD THIS BE IT? OMGEEEE!!" I thought giddily since it was already midnight and my younger siblings were asleep. I moved my mouse to open it and to my surprise it's an email from BigHit Entertainment saying.. "Congratulations! You have been chosen to become a trainee here in BigHit Entertainment...... EMAIL YOUR NAME FOR CONFIRMATION."

I quickly type my whole name and sent it imediately. After that day I can't stop smiling and jumping up and down.

My dream finally came true. Next goal, to become an idol.
