The Beginning

All sorts of people have different outlooks on life, but for monsters there's only one : Survival. In the underground monsters on the surface may seem happy and content, but deep within there is resentment towards those who put them there-Humans. Though one monster tries to forget the hatred and misery. her name, Verdana. A skeleton girl with a very unfortunate past, would rather look towards the future, that king Asgore has promised. Life on the surface. Now only needing one more soul, Verdana has hope. The skelegirl tends to stay joyful even in her current state, living in a box with a low paying job. She goes around the underground lifting the spirits of kids and those who try and forget the things that happened,

"before".

But, this story doesn't just contain one skeleton, but three.

One of the skeletons being a kind, gentle, and a bit narcissistic, soul. The other hiding fear and secrets no one else knows of, behind the deceiving grin he wears, plastered to his face for eternity. All three play an important role in this story.

While it may seem safe in the underground, the worst is yet to come. A human. With a "friend" along side them. The battle has just begun.
