JAEIN ran through the streets, her laughter echoing around the quiet alleyways she passes by. she almost just made it away from teenagers who were chasing her, she may have stole one of their skateboards.

as she reaches around the corner of alley and arms reaches out and grabs her, pulling her into a dark gap in between both alleys.

being pushed up against the wall, she is met with the hazel eyes of oh sehun. grinning, jaein laughs but is stopped by sehuns hand covering her mouth. both of them looked in the direction of the teenagers that were chasing after her.

"shit, it was the nct gang." sehun spoke under his breath.

"where the hell did she go? fucking bitch!" the 3 boys were about to turn into another corner to continue their search for me but were stopped by a sickening scraping noise again the wall.

as they turned their attention to where the noise was coming from, jaeins boyfriend baekhyun comes out from the darkness, scraping a small knife against the wall.

"not so fast boys." both sehun and jaein subconsciously let out a sigh in relief.

they both knew, even though sehun was here to save jaein just on time, they would never get out without being caught again.

"I'm assuming by the looks ok your faces, you know who I am? well then it's only good manners that I know who you gentlemen are!"

baekhyun put away his knife and approached the 3 boys, grabbing the first one by the collar and pulling him in close to his face.

glancing down at his neck to see his tattoo (it was tradition for gang members to have their name tattooed on their necks) and smirks finding his name written clearly in black ink.

"jonny. well jonny, why don't you go back and tell your boss that you," he glanced at the other boys necks to find their names before continuing, "taeil and doyoung got in some trouble with an exo gang member and," he then grabs jonny's arm pulling the sleeve up whilst taking out his knife at the same time and swiftly leaves a cut on his forearm, "may this be your first and only warning."

jonny held his arm in pain while telling the other boys to start running, "you'll regret this." he then turned round and sprinted away with the others.

"ok you can come out now!" the older one speaks, cleaning his knife on the sleeve of his leather jacket.

sehun and jaein scramble out from their hiding place and jaein runs over to her boyfriend, jumping into his arms.

"my knight in shining armour, or a leather jacket more like!" jaein smirks and kisses her boyfriend softly before pulling away to look at sehun.

"and you! if it wasn't for you, I'd surely have been caught!" sehun simply shrugs his shoulder, taking hold of jaeins hand and leaving a kiss on top.

"hey hey back off!" sehun just rolls his eyes at the elders comment before speaking again, "remember hyung we got that mission from the boss to finish!"

"your right, ok baby girl I'll see you tonight yeah?" jaein sighs and nods her head, "I guess you have to, go before I change my mind!"

baekhyun kisses her one last time before leaving again from the direction he came in, this time with sehun.

"ugh I really need some coffee in my system, that was a lot of running!"

jumping into the nearest cafe, jaein took a seat at a table, looking at her phone for a couple of minutes.

"gayeon" jaein looked up towards where the voice was coming from and saw a girl who must've been around seventeen, in her school uniform.

but what alarmed her even more was the barista behind the counter. she was sure it was that guy johnny who was chasing her from before.

surely enough, she glanced down at his left arm and there was a bandage wrapped around it.

she knew she would be noticed if she sat by herself so she walked up to the girl named gayeon.

"you okay there?" I ask, walking towards the girl sitting around dozens of notebooks and pens.

"oh yeah, I guess I'm not focusing well." jaein smiles and sits next to her, making sure she wasn't in the direct sight of johnny.

she must be skipping school, reminds me of myself!

"skipping school?" a smirk falls into my face as I think of how this girl seems, I used to be like that.

gayeon looks down at her uniform as if she forgot she still had it on and jaein smiles to herself.

"I guess you could say that."

I decide to let her know my name, holding out a hand to her I introduce myself, "I remember those days, I'm jaein."

gayeon shakes her hand back, bowing whilst introducing herself as "gayeon." before standing up hearing her name being called out.

she collects her coffee and sits down again. "well gayeon, I think we'll be great friends!"

gayeon smiles shyly, "I think so too."

jaein glances at the counter and notices jonny must've finished his shift by now.

"well here's my number, call me anytime if you need me. but I'm afraid I must go now. it was nice meeting you."

before gayeon could reply, jaein had already left the cafe.

gayeon looks down at the piece of par jaein had left.

confused, gayeon slipped the note in her pocket, continuing with her studies.
