after JAEIN left the cafe, she began following johnny hoping he would lead her to where nct where hiding.

she knew she wouldn't be able to take them out on her own but hopefully, she could get the information back to her boss before they move again.

after walking for twenty minutes, she was starting to lose hope. just as she was about to call baekhyun because she was lost, she heard a noise.

now fully aware of her surroundings, she turned only to be met by a boy around her age, definitely an nct member, cotton candy pink hair and an evil glint in his eyes.

"well boys, who do we have here?"
taeyong (she discovered his name was from his tattoo) smirked and bent down to her height.

jaein rolled her eyes and when she got the chance spat in his face. laughing she thought she had distracted him enough to get away but unfortunately not.

"AGH! you arsehole!" taeyong had pulled jaein back by her hair, which he was still holding onto as he pulled her in close, his other hand firmly on her waist.

"not so fast little girl." "bitch I'm not a little girl!"

taeyong pulled the hair away from her neck, revealing her tattoo.

"ace. that's an unusual name. well, ace, we received your message and it's only polite of us to reply to that with another message, don't you think?" jaein rolled her eyes, to which taeyong laughed.

"I'm bored now, boys!" taeyong pushed jaein to the ground and let about five boys twice the size of her surround her.

each of them took their shot at kicking and punching her, it felt like it had gone on for hours but most likely it had only been ten minutes.

finally, they stepped away from her, leaving her bruised and bleeding.

sighing she thought it was over but taeyong crouched down to her eye level.

"aw poor thing! I'm sorry it had to happen this way but you know how business is?" he smiled, "we can trust you'll deliver our message?" he took the silence as a yes and was about to stand up but a shining light around jaeins neck distracted him.

"well isn't that pretty?" taeyongs slim fingers, grasped the gold piece of jewelry around her neck and pulled at it to break it free.

it was a simple heart with a few numbers written on the front. taeyong assumed a birthday. and turning it round he saw engraved in the back were the letters and name, "jaein," he glanced down at the girl beneath him, bruised and bleeding.

jaein noticed how he hesitated for a moment but got up regardless, taking the necklace with him. "let's go boys."

and with that, they were finally away and had finally left jaein alone.

she decided it was best not to phone baekhyun or sehun, knowing they would probably freak out the whole gang and have everyone searching for her, she was sure she'd find her way back herself.

and her luck must've only just returned as ten minutes of walking she found herself back in exo territory.

proud of herself, she located the home baekhyun, sehun and her stayed and walked in the door, her vision deteriorating due to blood loss.

losing grip of the door handle, jaein felt herself fall to her knees.

"JJ? JAEIN? BAEKHYUN!"

after hearing sehun call for baekhyun her vision went black and all notion of conciousness vanished.

she had blacked out.

"you really scared us!" jaein opened her eyes slowly to be faced with her boyfriend, baekhyuns, soft brown ones.

"when I saw you lying in sehuns arms with bruises and blood everywhere I...I didn't know what to do," baekhyun wasn't looking in jaeins eyes when he spoke, making her nervous, it looked like he wanted to say something but he decided not to, "your lucky they didn't get your face!" baekhyun smiles and sends a playful wink before leaving the bathroom for more supplies.

jaein let out a deep breath she never knew she was keeping in, that was intense.

jaein was stopped from thinking further as the door opened again but instead of baekhyun there it was sehun.

jaein smiled widely, "sehunnnieeee!"

the younger breathed a sigh of relief and rushed over to jaein, hugging her tightly. "you scared me JJ..."

"I'm sorry sehunnie but hey look at me!" sehun moved so he was facing jaein, waiting for her to speak.

"I'm ok, it's only some bruises and hey, it could be worse," jaein smiled looking at the younger boy in front of her, "he couldn't got my face." sehun just rolled his eyes smiling, which made jaein happier.

"don't worry about me," jaein reached over and kissed sehuns cheek lightly, "I always survive these things don't I?" jaein noticed the pinks hard of sehuns cheeks as she done that.

"aw your so cute sehunnie!" "aish stop will you, im more than cute!" jaein just rolls her eyes. "yeah I know!"

"also," sehun looks behind his shoulder before turning back, "if baek hyung hears he'll get jealous so shhhh!"

jaein hears footsteps reaching the bathroom so she pushed sehun awya lightly. "I got the bandages- sehun?"

"oh hyung! I was just leaving, Kai wanted to see me anyway!" sehun walked over to the door nervous and anxious, "you know what's he like always asking for me and I'll just go, bye!" then sehun left without any other words.

"what's wrong with that kid?" jaein smiles, slightly nervous but won't let it show, and takes baekhyuns hand pulling him closer. "nothing you need to worry about."

baekhyuns eyes fell to were your necklace used to be and he looks towards you confused, "where is your mother's necklace?"

"oh that! the guy who beat me up, he stole it..." jaein placed a hand on the are it used to sit, missing the feeling of it being there.

"I swear I'm gonna kill that guy!" jaein placed a hand on baekhyuns shoulder, seemingly calming down. "you don't have to worry about that, I'll get it back!"

baekhyun turns around to face jaein, "how do you plan on doing that?"

jaein sighs smiling, "I have my ways, now," she wraps her legs around baekhyuns waist pulling him closer, "can we stop talking about this?"

baekhyuns smirks and nods his head, "I can do that," jaein smiles, leaning in to kiss him, to which he responded deepening the kiss further.

finally, I thought he'd never stop talking about that......
