Chapter 6: Last Words

"I'm free... I'm free!" You happily wheezed. A low hurtful, moan came from behind you. You turned around to see Wander lying on his back, badly injured. "Wander!" You run towards him and quickly kneel by his side. "Wander! It's gonna be alright!" You slowly lift one of his arms, to reveal that a rock had slammed into his side, making him bleed badly. "No no no no no... Wander?! Stay with me buddy," You hold his head in your arms, hugging him tightly.

"Y/n?" Wander asked weakly.

"Yes, Wander I'm here!" You cry.

"I-I love you." He stammered. Wander put his hand on the side of your head, and pulled you in for a kiss. You both connected your lips, and finished with a soft ending.

I'm so sorry Wander, this is all my fault-" Wander cut you off.

"No, it's okay... Don't be sorry." He managed to say. You could feel that his neck was getting weaker from all the blood he had lost. You tear off a piece of your shirt and wrap it around his side.

"Let me fix you." You said putting pressure on the wound. Wander cringes from the pain, but then breathes in and out very slowly.

"It's no use y/n, I might not make it..." He said slowly starting to close his eyes.

"No, no! Wander you'll be okay!" You said quickly. You put your ear to his chest listening carefully for a heartbeat. There was barely at least one to hear. Tears begin to fall down your cheeks.

"Never... H-hurts... To... Help..." Wanders eyes slowly closed. Leaving his body limp in your arms.

"Wander..." You slowly say, tears start falling like waterfalls. You slowly press your lips against his, waiting for him to make some movement, but nothing happened. You couldn't believe your eyes... You had just lost someone you had loved, who was very close to you. You slowly pick him up in your arms, and carried him back home.
