Liane's POV
After dinner, I went out of the restaurant with my mum and to the car. Before we went in the car, Ethan hugged my mum and she turned around with a big smile on her face.

My mum went inside the car and waited for me there. It was then left with me and Ethan all alone, I just turned my back, not wanting to do or say anything.

As I turned, I felt a tight grip on my wrist turning me around just to face him...closer."i missed you and i didn't mean-"

I cut him off."stop with all of your bullshit. i don't miss you"

I was tired of being strong and I was strong when he wasn't there but at that moment I was at my weakest.

My emotions and feelings came back like last time, when he cheated on me and left me.

Tears rolled down my cheek.I couldn't help it but just cry.I can't hold it in anymore.

I wiped my tears and I quickly ran inside the car and my mum dashed off.
We finally reached home and I ran upstairs to my room.'ding,ding!'my phone buzzed as I checked it,it was my mum.(yes they are texting even though they literally live in the same house)

mom🌸❣️:hey honey,i noticed you weren't talking that much during dinner.is there something wrong.you can always talk to me☺️

me:thanks mom but im fine.i was just not in the mood i guess.

mom🌸❣️:i called Ryan over, to talk to you.
is that fine?

me:yea sure.

Ryan is basically my best friend. He's sweet,kind and a fine gentleman.He also has the looks. We like each other but just stayed as friends because we didn't want to break and ruin our friendship.
I changed into my pjs and got comfy on my bed. A few minutes later, I heard a knock from my door. I opened the door and there he was. I don't know why but whenever I stare into his eyes, I feel like I'm gonna pass out. He has such nice ocean eyes.

"Hey!"he exclaimed and gave me a huge hug.
"Thanks for coming" I said while having a wide smile on my face. He already made my day with that smile of his. We decided to watch Jane The Virgin on netflix while we relax and chill.

He's the only person that makes me happy especially when I am feeling as miserable as ever. He is also beside me feeding me popcorn while we watch a movie.

Half way throught the movie I fell asleep on his shoulder and he didn't mind at all.

We've been best friends ever since, so nothing awkward tension between us at all.
He stood up and tug me into bed and left with no words.
Ryan's POV
Right after closing their door, i receive a message from Liane's mom. She probably heard me close the door.

mom🌸❣:hey there, thanks for
coming.
me :your welcome, im always there for Liane.
mom🌸❣:don't worry, she will choose you. she just needs time.
me :i do hope so. bye
mom🌸 ❣️:bye, take care dear.
