Liane's POV

I woke up from the glare of the beaming sun shining through my glass window. Making my eyes squint and my nose scrunch. I stood up to shut my curtains. Not letting any bit of light shine through my room. Deciding to go back to bed as I felt blue.

My body was boiling hot and I was coughing badly. I took my phone out from the charger which was lying on the night stand and texted my mum to tell her that I couldn't make it to school as I was feeling under the weather.

After a few hours my mum brought me her special chicken soup in the room which always cheered me when i'm always feeling down. After that I drank my medicine and I went back to bed as i was feeling drowsy from the medicine. I was sleeping peacefully till...

"RING RING"!!! My phone rang, forcing me to get up and take the call.

Rose: Hey, why didn't you come to school today?

Me: I wasn't feeling well, what did I miss

Rose: Nothing much. By the way, i'm coming over with......

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP-END OF CALL

I decided to take a long shower before my friends come over. When i walked out of the bathroom, I heard the doorbell ring. So i rushed to the door with my towel wrapped around my body.Opening the door slowly, wondering who rose brought with her, hoping that it's someone i knew. But to my surprise it was Jack.

Jack's POV

The door opened and my eyes widened, surprised to see Liane wrapped in her towel. With many feelings going through my mind. I didn't know how to react. So I stood still for a moment until Rose broke the silence.

Liane's POV

I was in shocked because i did not expect him to come over. We stood there in silence waiting for somebody to start a conversation not making any moment more awkward than it was. "Heyy I bought you some of your favourite chocolates, i hope this would make you feel better."

I welcomed them in and told them that "I'll be right back" as I needed to change into my clothes. I rushed up the stairs while holding my towel tightly making sure it doesn't drop. As I enter my room, I quickly picked out a cute outfit and threw it on.
