Chapter seven

Your pov.

I got up and got dressed for school. I put my hair in a messy bun because I really didn't care. We had a project and I finished it. I slowly and sadly walked to school. When someone ran past me. I looked up and saw Valt. He was standing right in front of me. He smiled at me and waved. I looked back down sadly and kept walking.

He ran past me again and did the same thing. I looked at him. Couldn't he take the hint I was heartbroken. If he cared about me then he would know. My sad eyes looked at him. He still didn't get it. I looked down and walked past him. I made it to school before the bell rang.

"Race you to the classroom! " he shouted and I just looked at him. I kept walking looking down. He stood in front of me.

"What is wrong with you!?! " he shouted.

"You know what's wring with me. " I mumbled and walked passed him. When I talked to him we would look each other in the eye. But it didn't happen this time.

"What are you talking about? " he asked. I turned to look at him. My sad eyes locked in with his confused eyes. He looked down sadly once he saw my eyes.

"Listen... " he said but I cut him off. I walked inside the classroom and before the teacher walked in too.

"Miss (y/n) come up here and do this problem. " the teacher said. Today we had English first. I walked towards the board without a hint of joy. I looked at the first word and I instantly knew how to solve the problem.

I looked at the teacher and she nodded her head. She looked around the classroom and back at me.

"(Y/n) I would like you to go with Valt so you can help him study. " she said and my eyes widened.

"B... " she cut me off.

"Okay thanks now you two get going. " she said and playfully pushed me to get going. I got my stuff and walked out if the room. Valt followed we went up to the roof. I sat down on the bench and Valt sat down in front of me.

I gave him a confused look. But when I looked at him it just reminded me of him ignoring me. I looked down sadly and he stuck out his pinky. I looked at him shocked. I took mine out and it was about to connect with his bit I quickly stopped. I opened up the book and started tutoring him.

Time skips...

The bell rang and I quickly ran out of school. I ran all the way home. I heard someone chasing me and I ran faster. I took a lot of turns and then I stopped to catch my breath. When I felt someone pin me to the wall. I looked to see that it was Valt he was out of breath.

"When are you going to trust me again? " he asked.

"Until you tell me that you need me. You always say 'we need you' but you never say 'I need you'. " I said and got out of his grip.

"It's as if I'm nothing to you. " I said and walked away.

Valt's pov.

(Y/n) walked away and I was there all alone. I walked back to school and went inside the music room. I got a guitar and sat down. I started to mess around with it for a little. (Cue the music!) I started to sing. I closed my eyes and the only thing I wanted to see was (y/n). But she wasn't here. I kept singing I missed her. I shouldn't have let her down that way.

She didn't deserve to be let down. And now because of me she's different. I haven't seen her smile or heard her laugh in a while. We're so close. We're the best of friends she trusted me so much. And I let her down. I was just avoiding her because I had feeling for her. And I was trying to deni them. But I couldn't deni I felt for (y/n).

I finished singing and opened my eyes. When I did I saw Honcho recording me.

"I got to admit it to you buddy. You have talent and I don't say that to just anybody. " he said.

"Hey! What are you do with that? " I said.

"Well I might show it to (y/n). " he said.

"Don't you dare. " I said.

"Well see ya. " he said and ran out.

"Honcho! " I shouted and ran out to see him nowhere in sight. I walked back home and walked inside.

"Hey, are you hungry? I just finished dinner. " my mom said and I walked upstairs.

"No thanks, I'm not hungry. " I said and went inside my room. I took out my homework and started answering the problems. My mom walked in.

"Valt do your... Homework... " she said.

"I'm done. " I said and out my homework away. I laid on my bed and faced the all.

"Dinner is ready if your hungry. " she said.

"No thanks mom. " I said and she walked out. She closed the door behind her and I heard a ring. I walked towards the ring and saw that it was a message from Honcho. I opened it up.

Honcho: dude meet me up on the roof tomorrow.

Me: why?

Honcho: stop asking questions. Now get some rest dude I'll see you tomorrow.

I was confused. I looked out the window and saw the sunset. It just wasn't the same without (y/n). I laid on my bed and closed my eyes drifting off to sleep.

Your pov.

I got an email from Honcho. I opened it and saw a video. I plugged in my earphones and clicked on the video. I saw that it was Valt singing. My heart broke and I felt like crying. I missed him so much. Then in the middle of the video Honcho texted me. I was a bit mad. I read his text and he wanted me to meet him on the roof tomorrow. I asked him why and he told me to stop asking questions. I listened to the video again and again. I loved the song and I missed Valt. I laid on my bed and closed my eyes falling asleep.
