Chapter eight

Your pov.

Next day...

I woke up and did my morning routine as fast as I could. I got my backpack and ran to the school. I got to school and saw Honcho. He walked over to me.

"Don't forget..." i cut him off.

"Sorry Honcho not now." i said and ran around the entire school looking for Valt. The last place i needed to look was the roof. I ran to the roof and saw Valt. I my heart started to beat rapidly for two things all that running and because of Valt. He looked up and looked at me when he saw me he quickly stood up.

"(Y/n)." he said and he walked a little then stopped.

"Valt." i said and walked towards him. When he saw me walking towards him he walked towards me.

"(Y/n) listen..." i cut him off by hugging him. He hugged me back. "Why?" he asked. I took out my phone and showed him the video. He looked at it until it was over. He looked at me.

"When i got it yesterday i listened to it all night. The song reminded me of us when we did some of these things. I thought it was sweet. And this song is very relatable to me and what you did. You sorta let my smile fade away but you got it back as soon as i heard this song." i said and smiled at him. He looked at me and took my hand.

"Listen i was only avoiding you because i started to have feelings for you. And i didn't want to accept the fact that i love you (y/n). " he said.

"I started having some feelings for you too Valt. I tried to push the feeling away because i wasn't sure that you felt the same for me. I love you too Valt." i said and he kissed me i kissed him back. We separated the kiss because the bell rang. We walked to class really happy.

"So is there anyway you and your mom can move back in?" he asked.

"I'm not sure Valt. " I said.

"Oh... " he said and he went to his seat while I went to mine. I miles softly knowing that Valt has the exact same feeling that I do. A group of girls cane towards me.

"Hey (y/n)." One said.

"Hey. " I said.

"Well we just wanted to have you know that we are having a party at the gym this Saturday. And the entire school is coming. " she said.

"Wait why are you guys having a party in the gym? And why are you inviting me? " I asked.

"Well we we're hoping that you can help us set up everything, since it seems that your really creative. And it's just a school dance. " she said.

"Oh what time do I have to be there? And do I have to wear a dress? " I asked.

"Be there at five o'clock sharp. And yes. " she said.

"Fine... " I said and she squealed.

"Great thanks! " she said and walked away with her friends. I smiled and shakes my head. I looked towards Valt and he seemed confused along with everyone else. I just giggled. The group if girls went towards them and told them about the dance. But not about them helping out at the gym.

They all looked at me and I looked around. I looked back at them and gave them a confused look. Why were they all staring at me? I looked at them and they kept looking at me. But this time I saw them talking and looking at me. I took out my phone to see if my hair was messed up or if I had something on my face. It was nothing I was good so why did they keep staring at me and talking about me. A girl I've never seen before walked in and walked towards me.

"Hi I'm Marcy, I'm new here. " she said and gave me a soft kind smile.

"I Marcy I'm (y/n). It's nice to meet you and welcome to our school. " I said.

"Hey, can I ask you something? " she said.

"Sure go ahead. " I said.

"Can we be friends? I hate having to eat lunch and being alone. " she said I thought about it.

"Sure, but I might have some trust issues. " I said.

"Oh okay. " she said.

"Hey there's a dance this Saturday. And it's a school dance at the gym. Maybe you would like to come help set up. " I said.

"Oh a dance sure. " she said.

"Great be there five o'clock sharp and wear a dress. " I said. If I had to wear a dress she did too.

Time skips...

The bell rang and before we could get up and leave the principle came on the speaker.

"Attention students our school dance is this Saturday. Boys ask girl's. Boys today is Thursday so hurry up and get asking. Hope you can all go. " he said and all the guys looked at the girls but mostly at me and Marcy. We both got up and left.

"So it's a boys ask girls dance then. " she said.

"Yeah good thing it wasn't a girls ask boys that would have been awkward." I said and we both laughed. And some of my books fell. "Shoot. " I said and just as I was about to pick up my books a crowd of boys ran over and were fighting on who pucks up which book. I took my books and put them back in my bookbag. "Thanks I guess." I said and walked away with Marcy. We both just giggled and we stopped at a vending machine. We both looked in out bookbags for money and another crowd of boys came holding money.

"You guys are seriously going to let us borrow money? " Marcy asked and they all nodded.

"Thanks guys well pay you back. " I said. "But only to the person that I took the money from. " I said and took a five dollar bill from a guy. I got my snack and drink so did Marcy. I gave the guy his change. "Here's your change thanks. " I said and we walked again. We finally got out of the school building and Valt ran in front of me.

"Hey (y/n) what were all those guys doing to you? " he asked.

"Well one group picked up my books and the other gave us some money for a snack and a drink. " I said.

"Oh. " he said.

"See you around Valt. " I said and hugged him. And I started walking again with Marcy. We almost got to the point we needed to part ways. We gave each other our numbers and walked our separate ways. I got home and laid on my bed.

"Sweetie don't forget to do your homework. " she said.

"I don't have homework today mom. " I said.

"Okay. " she said and I just remembered what happened today in the morning. I closed my eyes and that just kept repeating. With that I was sound asleep.
