(The CROWN, Part 1)
One of the most distinct features for Sally is her dress. I was heading for something eccentric but somehow tied to folklore.
... you've got me a nymph?...
She can easily blend with the scenery so it's utilitarian but still reflects her spirit.
Running through the wilderness defending not only your own life leaves its imprint on once beautiful dress.
Going for the fairy of the forest is the obvious way to go here, Sally's dress is worn out and tattered but digging deeper, the heroine living in the world of dead has to pull herself out of the grave on daily basis.
The other influence is slightly gothic. The walker world is about fear and in order to survive Sally has to become invisible, almost ghostly.
So here they are, some of the style ideas shaping the queen of The Crown. Do they meet your imagination or do you have something completely different pictured in your head? I'm dying to to peek inside your brain!
