Joey's P.O.V
Is this weird? Probably. Should I stop? Probably. Will I stop? Probably not.
Something about watching her perform ,even if she is trying to play some goofy prepubescent blonde boy, just gives me a thrill and keeps me smiling all day. No matter what role she plays she just kills it.
Okay Richter stop staring before you start to drool.
"Hey dude, still staring at Lopez huh?"
Crap. Talk about being discreet. Of course it would have to be Walker to spot me he'll never let it go now. Just play it cool Joey.
"Uh.. W-What are talking about? I'm just watching rehearsals" Wow, way to play it cool.
"Oh yeah sure, watching a certain Lauren Lopez rehearse"
"No! I'm no-"
"Not watching her, really Joey? Dude it's extremely obvious if you like her go for it. What's the worst that could happen? I mean it's already embarrassing for you as we all know you have the hots for Lopez."
"Wait seriously? Everyone?"
Was Joe right? Should I ask her? If she says no I jeopardise our whole friendship but if she says yes then I could have my dream girl. Screw it.
"Fine I'll ask her after rehearsals."
"Finally dude!"

"Hey, uh Lauren, can I talk to you?"
"Sure Joey!" She said, walking toward me with that breathtaking smile of hers. The way she just radiates pure joy and- wait no again Richter you're getting distracted!
" Umm you looked great out there!"
"Thanks Joey! Sometimes I feel a bit goofy just rolling on the floor like that but I guess that's what we all are, goofy."
"Yeah, I get that," I smiled a little but inside I was terrified of what I was about to do.
"Um, well, so if you wanted, I mean if you're not busy-" Jeez Joey you sure are great at playing it cool. I looked down as my face had by now turned a deep shade of crimson.
" I'd love to go on a date with you! Jesus it took you long enough! You have my number text me the details as I have to get back to rehearsals! See ya Joey"
" Bye Lo" I looked after her grinning. Wow that was easier than I expected. Turns out that beautifully goofy girl was going out with the geeky boy. Right now this was just one date, but little did I know I was now looking at my future. Our future.
