Lucy.. Lucy!

Lucy, come home..

Lucy Miller..Lucy..

Come home..

Tiny, gruff voices persuaded me to come with them in the depth of the night..I ran away desperately from them , trying to catch my breath, with the earth beneath my bare feet. The merciless wind swept my hair off my face violently and it kept stinging my exposed skin. I stumbled on a tree root and I landed on my face. I felt tiny hands grasp my legs and pull me effortlessly towards their lair. I struggled and tried to scream but it was no use; no voice was coming out of my mouth.

I woke up to the sound of my digital clock. Its numbers glowed red, indicating that it was already midnight.

Sweat trickled down my forehead. I was about to wipe my face with my hand when I felt something cold in my left palm.

I sat down on my bed. The room given to me was almost pitch black but a streak of moonlight managed to sneak into the cracks of the wall.

A look of horror crossed my face when I opened my palm. Dang, Nana's gonna kill me. There sat an emerald stone from the tree I wasn't even supposed to touch.

"Disobeyed your elderly already?tsk, tsk, tsk..I expected more from you, Ms. Miller," a familiar voice said from the shadows.

"It's not my fault!" I deffended myself.

"I don't even know how it got here," I added.

I heard him chuckle, "oh, really?" he said as he stepped into the light, revealing his face.

"Hey! Talk. about. privacy!" I said slowly for a dramatic affect.

" Why are you here, Stephen?" I asked, obviously annoyed.

In a blink of an eye, he was an inch near me. I was too shocked to even respond or slap him. He held my face with his right hand and took the gem from mine with his other.

"See you in the kingdom, my princess," he whispered in my ear, and in that moment, he pressed the stone in my chest.

My sight blurred and I blacked out before I knew it.

Stephen Curtin's P.O.V.

The first time I saw her, I knew immediately that she definitely has Tierreian blood. The way her ears pointed up and the color of her eyes were basic indicators that she was one.

She could be the heir we've been waiting for since the day her grandmother refused to take the throne and took me with her into the human realm.

Of course, I couldn't say no to my lover.

After that, she just sealed the tree using those stones that were enchanted. It was the only way to the kingdom, well, exept for teleporters though. They always find or create portals to and out of the place. Sneaky bastards.

Anyway, I really wanted to go back to my home. Nana still believed that I loved her but I grew tired of her as the years passed by. I couldn't grow old with her, I was immortal in her world. But in The Kingdom, I was just like a normal human; gets old with time. Well, except for the individual gifts we had, also our different anatomy.

I couldn't just leave Natalie, though. The previous king was a nuthead and messed up her mentality pretty bad. So, I was kinda glad that Lucy came around. I finally had a scapegoat. Plus, I couldn't just ruin her masterpiece.

Barging in Lucy's room made me look like some perv though, even if I had to do it.

One last thing, remember the rhinestones that Natalie put up on the tree's trunk?

She got them from a teleporter.
