"Do you think she's dead?" a feminine voice asked her companion.
What the-
"No, no. I think I saw her hand twitch," replied another voice.
Were they talking about me?
"Where did you say you saw her again?" the man asked her.
"In the forest, near Lady Oak," she replied.
I'm really, really, really confused right now.
"Hey, I think she's waking up," she whispered this time.
I blinked a few times then opened my eyes. Two people were looking down on me with curious gazes. The girl had her shoulder-length, light brown hair kept down in a braid, adorned with red poppies and white, little flowers. She was so pale and her cheeks were spotted with freckles. The other boy, probably her twin, also had the same hair color and facial features.
"W-where am I?" I stirred.
They stared at me blankly then the girl elbowed her brother.
"Uhh, how do I expain this?" he tensed up a bit.
I sat down on the bed I was lying on earlier. Did his girl companion carry me all the way here?
"The Kingdom hasn't received any visitors from the outside realm since a very long time," the boy started.
I saw the girl roll her eyes in his direction.
"Names first, you idiot," she told him playfully.
"Right. She's Cassandra, my twin," he pointed at the girl. She gave me a flashy grin.
meh. My guess was correct.
"I'm Leonardo, Leo for short," he winked at me.
"Lucy Miller," I extended my hand out for him to shake.
He seemed pretty unsure of what to do. Leo glanced at his sister but she just shrugged. They looked kinda unconfortable so I just let my hand drop to my side. Different customs, huh?
Now that I notice it, they both had pointy ears and dressed bizzarly. Layer after layer of clothes, and not just your regular kind of clothing.
Cassandra was wearing a summer dress made up of real bundled-up flowers. She was wearing a black, pebble blazer over it and --- oh gad, are you kidding me? --- yellow baby spiders stiched up together to make her see-through sweater. Great. Another addition to Lucy's list of weird things.
Her brother, on the other hand, was wearing a brown tank top (which I guess was made of fine wood) and a silky cardigan(spider's web?). My eyes widened in shock as to what I saw for his pants; he was wearing dried caterpillars. No kidding.
They must be silently judging me too. Compared to them, I was completely underdressed; just my tight jeans and my oversized, black hoodie.
They eyed me from head to toe and what they said confirmed ny suspicions:
"Why don't we get you dressed first, before we take you on a tour around, eh?"

The marble door closed with a click as the last person, Leo, came out.
"All set?" he asked. His multi-colored eyes gleamed with anticipation.
Cassandra put up her thumb with a smile. Waht. She had only four, long fingers; no pinkies. And by long, I mean long. Man, these Tierre-something people were weird.
I walked down the glass pavement uncomfortably behind the twins. The clothes Cass lent me weren't really my style but beggars aren't choosers, after all. I wore a zebra print, cocktail dress which I think is made of the actual animal's skin matched with a light blue butterly sweater and flats.
I noticed that they were hovering an inch over the surface.
"Where are we going, anyway?" I asked as I tried to catch up with their fast pace.
Leo stopped in his tracks and looked back at me." Lucy, my dear," he started to say,
"We are going to meet the prince."
