So within the 5 minutes I was waiting. My mom grabbed her phone and walked outside with my dad. I was so lost but I just grabbed a piece of bacon and started eating it.

As I finished eating it, I heard my name being called from outside. I realized it was my dads so I got up grabbed my phone and put it in my pocket and stepped out the door closing it behind me. As I walked out, I looked towards the garage and nearly stopped dead in my tracks and broke down crying. My parents had my car finished early for me! I couldn't believe that my car was sitting in my driveway!

"MY CAR! WHAT??? OMG I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY!?! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!" I screamed as I ran to them hugging them as tightly as I could. I couldn't believe this.

"Your welcome, sweetheart. We told Tony, at the dealership that we wanted to have your car done the day before your birthday so we could come and get it and bring it here to surprise you," my mom told me as I let them both go. "and there's more." More? What more could there be?

"Acacia, get in and open the dash compartment." My dad said opening the door to the car.

I stood there for a second in confusion, but total excitement, wondering of what else there could be. I got in and the first thing I did was smile because it felt good to be back in my baby.

After a couple moments of smiling, I remembered that my dad told me that I had another surprise in the dash compartment. I opened it and saw a letter addressed to me. I opened it immediately and read it outloud as my mom filmed me.

'Happy Birthday babygirl! Your mom and I wanted to give you not only the car as a surprise, but a plane ticket to California to go see your grandparents and have the chance to live with her! We hope you'll be okay with this. We love you so much!

Xoxo, Dad and Mom'

I cried as I read every word. I pulled the ticket out of the letter and couldn't believe my eyes. I jumped out the car crying and hugging my parents more then I ever have. When I pulled away, I looked back at the ticket to see what day I was leaving and to see how much time I had to pack. 'Tomorrow at 4:30 pm' it read. My mom turned off the camera right as I went to speak up.

"I leave tomorrow? Why so soon?" I asked in confussion.

"We figured you'd want to go right away and have some time to pack a few items of clothes." My mom told me.

"Why just a few though? I mean I get to move in with them, right? So why not all of them?" I was so lost in all of this.

"Your grandmother has clothes at her house for you as well as you getting $2000 dollars from us to go shopping when you get there," My dad anwered in a dark but gental raspy tone. "We want the best for you sweetie. We know that with everything that's been going on at home, its been hard so we want you to be somewhere that you'll be happy and have a better life."

"Dad, mom. I'm happy living here. And yes this is what I want but I'm happy here. Its where i grew up and no matter what I am going to call this home but its not hike without the two of you and without my friends," i was a little angry at them for doing this. I knew they were lying to me and they didn't want me to know about the divorse. I could see it in their faces. I was an only child so if they were to get a divorse, it would be after I turned 18. I had to ask about the divorse no matter what the answer was. I just wanted to hear the truth. "Is this about the divorce? I know that's what's going on. Its been obvious since most recently when you both went to bed angry at one another."

"Acacia, we are so sorry that we haven't been the best of parents lately. We just want you to be happy and out of all the drama. Your dad and I wanted to wait till after you left to finish everything off. We knew that you love your grandparents so much and that you missed them, and you stated before that you wanted to live with them so we wanted to give you the chance to." My mom said as she started to cry.

"Mom, don't cry," I hugged her and pulled away with my arms still on her shoulders. "I'm so happy that you did this for me. No questions asked, "I looked up as my dad put his hand on my shoulder "Look, you have nothing to worry about. I understand all of this. If you think I'm going to hate the two of you for this, I promise I'm not. I want you both to be happy and if that means that you have to be divorced, go ahead and do it. As long as you both are happy, I'm okay. Thank you both so much." We all joined in for a family hug. She wiped away her tears and my dad kissed my head. I always wanted my parents happy no matter what had to happen and I will always go by that. I was raised by two amazing people and no matter what I will love them with every bit of my heart.

We all walked back inside and cleaned up. I put all of my new stuff up where it all goes as my mom did the dishes and my dad cleaned off the table. When I went back downstairs, my mom looked at me and smiled. My dad got a call so he stepped out of the room.

"Honey, why don't you go ahead and go see your friends. Let them know what's going on." My mom said as she rinsed off the last dish and wiped her hands on the rag sitting by the sink.

"Yes ma'am. Do you mind if I go out and buy a new suitcase as well?" She nodded yes and kissed my head goodbye.

I ran back to my room and grabbed my purse, keys and phone. When I got back downstairs, my mom was sitting by the island reading something off her phone and drinking coffee. I asked were dad was and she said he had went in for work. I was a little saddened but i was okay with it because I'd see him when I got home. I said goodbye once more and then finally left. I had a few stops to make today so I would be busy for a while. I first went to my Jenna's house. I never really needed to knock because her whole family loved me.
