Chapter 1

One day I decided to take a walk in the park with my good friend Mark. We walked over to the Ice-cream shop and ordered our favourite flavours, we found a seat across the road and sat down in front of a fountain.

I heard a ringing noise coming from Marks pocket, he pulled out his phone to see who was calling. I looked over to see the word 'Wade' spread across the screen; he is Marks best friend. "God damn it wade" I heard him mumble under his breath, I looked over at him...I don't think he wanted to be rude because he took it out and turned it off.

"He probably just wanted to tell me that his new video was up or something. I began to feel hungry "do you want anything to eat? You can call wade again to see what he wanted and I'll bring back food, won't be long" and with that I began walking to the hot dog stand.

I looked back to see Mark walking vastly behind me, I stopped and waited for him to catch up." Hey what's wrong? "I said "nothing just wanted to keep you company" He replied in a happy tone.

Mark pulled his phone out and turned it on. I glanced over to see he had 9 missed calls and 5 messages, each from Wade. "MARK, YOU NEED TO PICK UP, I NEED TO TALK TO YOU...ITS URGENT!!" One of the messages read "call him back, maybe it is actually urgent not just one of his stupid pranks again" I said allowed.

We arrived at the hot dog shop and decided on getting a plain hotdog each, the lady at the shop handed us each our hotdogs. My stomach begun to grumble, I looked over to Mark who had tears of laughter streaming down his face from seeing my reaction to my own stomach.

We began to walk back to the fountain. Mark ran ahead to save the spot so nobody else could get it first. As I continued to walk toward the fountain I saw a family of ducks swarming around Mark, he was chucking them pieces of bread off the bun whilst they flapped their wings with joy. Even him, the strong manly, man couldn't resist to let out an aww or two.

Mark looked at me and apologised, he had to make a phone call. "Okay, I don't mind, I have the ducks to keep me company" I said with a giggle. He grabbed his phone from his pocket and begun to call Wade. "Hey, Wade what's up, everything okay? Okay, can (Y/N) come? Alright, be there soon" and with that he hung up the phone, turned around too look at me.

Mark put his phone back into his pocket and just grabbed my hand and we began walking to his car "where are we going?" "Um to wades... He is scared from playing a horror game" he said with a goofy look upon his face" why? He shouldn't need us... he has a girlfriend... If I get scared I just watch kitten videos or Sponge Bob" I replied with a smirk on my face knowing how much he loves them.

"Yeah well the thing is his girlfriend is actually visiting a friend in Ohio and she won't be back for another week... her flight was cancelled and the next flight isn't until Thursday" he said looking at me jingling his keys in his hand. Mark unlocked his car making sure he had his phone still in his pocket, we got into Marks car and drove off, I turned the stereo on and the second I did, I regretted it...
