CHAPTER SIXTEEN

" Kaytlyn." I said. " wake up. we need to get home before they come and find us."

" oh, yeah." she said yawning. she was so cute when she yawned. I broke the portal to the nether and we started on our way back. it was early norning and the mobs were just begining to despawn. Kaytlyn had snipped about 7-8 creepers and I had slane a hand full of mobs.

soon we entered the clearing where our house/base was. there was a group coming otut of the house. it consisted of: Angie, Mitch, Ty, and Quintin. "where were you guys?" Ty asked.

Angie came over and hugged her cousin," I thought I lost you, for good." her arm was fully healed now.

"the trip to the nether lasted a little longer than expected." Kaytlyn said.

"but, we have a lot of blaze powder." I said trying to make the lie seem real. Angie looked skeptical about the whole thing.

" well, since we found them can we go inside? maybe eat while we're at it?" asked Quintin.

" yea, let's all go inside." Angie said. I looked at Mitch and he had a hudge smerk on his face.

" yea, your trip did last a little long." Mitch said smiling. me and him were at the back of the pack. " come on Adam, you can't hide it from me. what happened?"

" well," I began to say but, then kaytlyn turned around and gave me a stare. " I'll tell you later." I said. once inside Mitch had anounced our returned to what seemed should have been the whole world. everyone came u to see us and soon as quick as they came, they were gone.

" so, are you going to tell me or not?" said Mitch.

we were the only two upstairs. " well..... um.." I studdered not knowing how to tell him.

" does it have to do with Kaytlyn?" he asked.

I turned away and mumbled something.

" it is, isn't it."

"maybe...." I said trying really hard not to blush.

" what happened man. come on you can tell me. I promise I won't tell anyone else. I got a little secret myself." he said.

I craked. " I love Kaytlyn. ok? she means the world to me. last night we kissed and now we're something rather than just friends. ok?" I said. then I relized how sappy I sounded and began to blush really, really bad.

" wow." he said. Mitch opened his mouth to speek but, nothing came out. then after a while he spoke," well, I guess its time for my secret. I love Angie and she loves me." I couldnt say anything. I first relized now that we were outside sitting under a tree. I looked at Mitch, his face was still pink. mine probably looked the same.

Mitch broke the silence." #Adlyn!" he got up.

"#Mangie!" I gave him a taste of his own medicine. we ran back inside.

Ty looked confused as ever and Mitch and I just laughed.
