The next morning I awoke, having getting a full night of sleep other than the little nightmare. I sat up and stretched, yawning as the sun shone on my skin. I said good morning to Taehyung and talked with him as I waited for the doctor to come in.
This morning though, it was different. It was a different doctor, as if she had been scared off. The man examined me, writing down notes about how I was doing before leaving, as usual with the door unlocked. I walked out and did the same as last time, only without pressing any buttons on the elevator and turning towards the stairs.
I opened the door, which was surprisingly hard. Then I dragged the device I had been using to stabilize myself, closer. I slid it off a step and walked down a step. Then I did this again, and again, and again. I continued until I had gotten down the stairs.
The hallway seemed to be completely identical to the one I'm usual in. I stepped through it, hiding under windows, slowly moving forward. I finally got to the dead end and decided to look to my left, at the door I was usually in (just in my own hallway).
I peered through the window to see...
Nothing.
It was just blank. No room, no ground, no sky, nothing. Just, blank. I tried opening the door but it wouldn't budge. Suddenly, I was grabbed by a doctor and dragged towards the elevator.
I screamed and kicked trying to make him let go, as I didn't want to go back to my room and I was tired of being so isolated from everything.
The doctor dragged me to the elevator and set me down inside. I asked him questions, only to get very short answers.
"Where am I?" I asked the doctor.
"Here." He replied in a rude tone.
"Who am I?" I asked, hoping for a better answer.
"You." He answered, making me begin to feel annoyed.
"Fine, what can you tell me?" I asked, trying to beat his little game.
"Nothing." He replied, causing me to groan in annoyance.
The elevator finally got to my floor and he dragged me back to my room. Once I was back on my bed he left, locking the door.
At least I had gotten farther than last time. I stood up and decided to go outside and sketch in my book again, only to notice that there was a ladder there.
I smiled in joy, and got down to climb it. Then I noticed that I couldn't bring the device pumping strange fluid into my veins. I decided to try anyways, as I had no idea what the fluid was for, so if they weren't going to tell me I was going to find out for myself.
I started climbing down, only to fall as I wasn't sure get enough to keep myself up. The syringe popped out of my skin and I fell, dropping down quite a far length. I hit the ground hard, and screamed in pain. Then I blacked out.
I awoke with my arm in a cast, but nothing else was broken. I sat up and hesitated, before speaking.
"Taehyung? Are you there?" I asked, knowing he would reply.
"Tzuyu? Your awake, good. I heard the doctors talking about how you tried climbing down a ladder." He said.
I turned and looked out at the glass doors, remembering what happened.
"Uh, yeah." I replied.
"I think they said something about it only being for doctors, and they didn't think that you would actually try to use it." Taehyung spoke.
For some reason I still wanted to go down it, to escape. I turned to the wall, and told Taehyung I was going back to bed, to get some rest for my arm to heal.
I stood up and turned to the device pumping things into my veins, finally beginning to wonder what it was that they were pumping into me. I looked at the part that was attached to my arm. I put my hand above it ready to pull it. I took a deep breath before ripping it out.
Nothing happened.
I sighed, thinking that it would do something. I took the blanket off of me and slipped my legs over to the side of the bed to stand. My feet touched the cold floor, but it felt different.
I stood up, beginning to feel weak as usual, before that feeling suddenly disappeared. I stood up straight and walked to the door carefully, before sliding it open.
I walked over to he ladder and began to climb down, even though it was dark. I walked around, examining the area before going down the path that entered the miniature forest (of sorts).
I could barely see, but I felt the path under my feet and followed it blindly. Finally I came to an area that resembled my room. I climbed up the ladder and saw a boy laying in a bed sleeping. The room was much different from mine.
It was a mess, the walls were dark for the bits that you could see as the rest was covered with plans of sorts and drawing of a woman. It was strange. I walked farther inside and opened the door to the hallway.
Outside of his room read who the patient was, and why they were here.
'Kim Taehyung [] Room A [] Recorder'
I gasped, what does that mean? How long has he been here? I thought Taehyung was on the other side, but how do I speak to him then?!
I turned to my left and ran towards the elevator as fast as I could to escape. I pressed floor one and stepped inside. Once I got down I was in the lobby. Unfortunately there was a woman sitting there working on some papers and plenty of guards around the entrance.
I was so confused, nothing made any sense? What was going on? I didn't know what else to do, so I ran. I ran towards the door before the guards grabbed me and pulled me away. I screamed and kicked trying to escape only for them to drag me all the way back to my room.
"Tzuyu?! What's going on? Is something wrong?!" Taehyung asked as I was being dragged in.
"Recorder?! What does that mean? Let me go! Just let me out of here!" I continued to yell, ignoring Taehyung.
"What? Tzuyu, what's going on?" He asked once again.
The guards quickly chained me to my bed and left. I tried escaping many times but I couldn't.
"Tzuyu... What happened to you?" Taehyung asked in a softer tone.
As I was regaining my breath, I didn't want to speak to him. I felt as if he had something to do with this, and he has know everything all along.
After a long while, I spoke up.
"Recorder. That's what it said outside your door. Have you been lying to me? This entire time?" I asked, trying to hold in my anger.
"Wh- What do you mean Tzuyu?" Taehyung asked.
I repeated what I had said louder, adding in extra.
"I'm not as stupid as you think I am. I found your room on the other side of the forest. You have plans and pictures of a woman all over your walls." I told him.
"Plans? Pictures of a woman? What do you mean by that?" He asked.
"I mean-" Suddenly my anger disappeared, and everything felt fine. I paused for a moment, before turning back to the wall.
"Nevermind." I told Taehyung before turning my head to the window and closing my eyes.
•Little did she know, the guards had also plugged the tube back into her arm, causing the strange liquid to flow through her blood once again•
"Tzuyu?" Taehyung asked, before I blacked out forgetting everything that had just happened.

The plot thickens...
Also have a great rest of your day!
