Chapter 8 ღ

Jade's P.O.V

After what I read on my phone last friday night. I dont want to go to school anymore. I've stayed at home, pretending im 'sick' just so that I dont have to face Lynn. I havent told Adam yet, I havent even told Zoe. I just, well its not really something you would go around sharing like 'Oh Im being threatened by my ex-bestfriend and the guy who serenaded me's ex'. 

But I've decided enoughs enough. She cant keep making me feel so worthless, thinking that everything is so uphill for her. I groaned as my alarm clock rang. 

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

Pressing snooze I got up and rubbed my sleepy eyes. It was 5:30, meaning I had half an hour to take a shower and get dressed. I stepped into the cold shower, shivering as the freezing cool water trickled along my bare back. I washed my body and after shampooing and conditioning, rinsed out my hair. I hopped out the shower and dried myself with a peach towel. I slipped into a black bra and pantie, then wore a white sleeveless top with a black peace sign on it and some black high waisted shorts with black heel boots. I dried my hair, and tied it into a high ponytail. Applying some extremely light make up, I added some final touches before I was happy with my look. I looked at myself in my full length mirror and sighed. I was afraid I was gaining quite some weight. Im on a diet of icecream and chocolate. I tried sucking my tummy in but it just made my chest look massive, a bad massive.

I ran downstairs and out the door, not having time to eat or drink or whatever. I walked to the bus stop, where some other people were at. After I told Adam I was 'feeling better' and that I could go back to school, he offered to take me in his car. As much as I really wanted to go to school with him, I dont want people saying stuff and making rumours so here I am waiting for the bus. 

I watched as a big yellow bus stopped infront of me. As the doors opened, I walked in and sat down on a window seat. Staring out the window I breathed on the window and with my index finger, wrote my name. I accompanied it with a smiley face. I then got out a pen and drew a similiar smiley face on my palm. I smiled, it wasnt as big as the smiley faces, but It was a good smile. These couple of days I've  been recovering from Lynn and her love for hurting people. According to Instagram, shes got a new boyfriend, Ethan. Shes been showing him off to everyone, taking like 20 selfies with him and taking ones of them french kissing. Like, ok go be in love but some things should be kept to yourself people. 

The bus came to a stop and I got off first. I cant believe im saying this but I kinda missed school. I felt a pair of hands cover my eyes, and I froze.

"Guess who" Said a very familiar voice.

"Zoe I know its you" I replied. I could recognize her voice from anywhere. 

"Shit" She muttered moving her hands to her sides. I giggled. We walked in sync and started talking about random stuff like polar bears.

"Ooh Lookie what we have here. Little lonely Jade and her lame bestfriend" Lynn smirked. 'Lookie'

really Lynn, really?

"Just go away Lynn" Zoe snapped at her. Wow. Probably the first time she ever stuck up for me due to her shyness towards people she wasnt very close to.

"Shut up B****" Lynn sweared at her. Okay, shit just got REAL serious.

"Ok Lynn. I dont know what your problem is, but you need to back off, sending me threats and all, telling me to drink bleach, swearing at my bestfriend. Just leave me and my friends alone." I said to her. She had that emotionless look on her face.

She sucked her teeth and finally spoke "Atleast im not the one ruining people relationships, like you broke me and Adam up. Everyone knows you're a slut" She purposely shouted out ever so loud. Everyone in the hallways looked at us. I didnt know what to say back.
