Jade's P.O.V

Things between me and Adam has gotten awkward. We never speak, well, I never speak. I just dont know what to say to him. I know hes tried everything he can to try and get me to talk, but half of me just doesnt want to forgive him that easily. He's still with Lynn though, his excuse is "I dont want to break her heart" Well thats exactly what you did to me?

I have to talk to him now though. We're partners for the Geography project. As much as I dread the awkward tension, I do not want to fail this. I mean, its going to be half my end of year grade. I gathered all the things we needed from my room and took a deep breath. Maybe, just maybe it wont be that bad?

"Knock Knock" I took another deep breath as I opened my door. It was Adam ofcourse. He looked up at me with an apologetic look, I had to look away. 

"Hey" He said. I didnt say anything as he walked in, and sat down on the bed. Closing the door, I sat down on my white leather sofa, my books on my laps. 

"You do realise, you have to speak sooner or later. That is ofcourse if you want an A" He said with a smirk. I sighed, realising he was actually right.

"Ok so we need to make a very detailed poster about climate & weather. So I was thinking maybe we should make the diagrams sort of like pop-ups?" I babbled on. 

He had a wide smile on his face, almost like a smirk. "Sure" He said. 

He sat down on the sofa next to me, and started planning the poster while I got the things we needed sorted. He was actually working well, So hes not as dumb as I expected him to be. 

But, ignoring him was fun. Hmm, maybe I'll continue afterwards.

3 Days later...

"Ok, has everyone handed their posters in?" The teacher asked.

"Yes" Everyone sleepily replied. 

I was quite proud of our poster. Although at first it was quite awkward, in the end, we were working well together. 

The bell rang and everyone cheered as we left the class. I met up with Zoe who was glowing.

"Guess what happened in History?" She said excitedly.

"What?" I asked as we entered the cafeteria. 

"Joey asked me out on a third date" She squealed. As happy as I am for her, part of me kind of wished I had a love life as happy and as sweet as hers. 

We sat down on our usual table, yeah after the Mac & Cheese incident, Heather has been out of my sight, Infact some people are saying shes left school. Now Sorcha and Skye wonder around the school like lost puppies. Zoe started going on and on about how sweet Joey has been treating her lately and all that gooey romanic stuff when suddenly, we heard a guitar being strummed. The whole place was quiet, you could hear a pin drop. 

I turned my head round, and saw Adam with a guitar hanging from his neck. His eyes met mine and he smirked.

"This ones for you, Jade Rosalind" He said. I felt my heart start beating as all the lights went off, with only two spotlights on me and Adam. I was getting all sweaty and nervous and....
