The Halloween Ball Part Two

Lilly's POV:

"Welcome to Phantomhive Manor. My name is Lilly. Please pass your coats and hats to my sister and my friend, then head in through that opening. Lord Phantomhive will be down shortly" I introduced. Sebastian gave me a reassuring look, then put a door stop under the door.

The people flood in. All sorts of dress colours, mask colours and suit colours made it look like a multi coloured river. They all smiled at me, some occasionally bowed and said "hello" I acknowledged them and gave them a nod and pleasant smile.

Soon, all the people who were outside (plus a few more that had arrived) were inside. The orchestral band struck the first notes for "Eine kleine Nachtmusik"

Everyone was talking. Everyone was smiling. Everyone was happy. People, in hand, dancing to the classical piece.  The servants were standing to the sides, some people were talking to them, asking questions.

Soon, Ciel wandered in. The music stopped and everyone bowed, showing their appreciation.

"Please, arise. I am not the one who deserves your praises. Its the staff. Please, raise you glass for all the members of staff from the Phantomhive Estate." With that, everyone raised their glasses of champagne and noted their thank you's.

"Now. Everyone Enjoy the ball!" Was the last said by him. The chatter started again, the orchestra began, this time, playing beathovens 5th synthany.

Avianna was talking to a Demon. His eyes were honey coloured, his skin was porcelain. He wore glasses and a simple butler suit. I overheard him say "My master isn't here today, he sent me to come instead."

I then started to look for my lover. I hadn't seen him since Ciel's speech. Speaking of Ciel, he seemed to be standing lonely by the snacks table, holding a glass of champagne. I started to walk over him, the journey there was like going threw a massive line of Elephants. Luckily I got there, Alive.

"Hello, Lilly. I hope your enjoying yourself as much as I am?" He was morbid. Depressed. Ever since 'Lizzy' was pushed to have an arranged marriage with someone else, he hasn't been himself.

"Well ... No. I can't seem to find Sebastian anywhere!" I explained. "Well thats an easy one. He's gone to the cellar to get some more bottles of Champagne with Bardroy. They will be back soon. In the mean time ... Who is that girl? She looks stunning!"

His eyes were drawn to a 16 year old girl. Her eyes were the same as mine, just a little bit lighter, her lips were pink and plump. She wore an elegant red dress with black layering, her hair fell flawlessly too her waist. I knew this girl. Very well.

I sighed "Thats my 1st cousin, Dhelia Scronfil. She has to marry a human, by orders of my uncle. She's waiting. For the right person. She's the same age as you, surprisingly. Why dont you go and show her around. Take a glass of wine. She prefers wine." I said, grabbing a glass, giving it to him and pushing him way.

Suddenly, two wrong arms wrap around my stomach, a small kiss was planted on my neck. "I never had the chance to tell you how beautiful you look this evening." Sebastian whispered in my ear. My mind was empty. What should I say? What should I do?

I turned around, staring at him I. his handsome crimson eyes. My hand trailed to his cheek, gently caressing it. "Thanks you, My raven. You look devilishly handsome Today." He smirked, his features were perfect.

The orchestra started to play a song that has been one of my favorites since I was young. 'Where do I begin? Love story' Sebastian looked at me, and smiled.

He parted from me, taking my hand and placing a delicate kiss. "Would you care to dance?" he asked, still bowing. My hand traveled up to cover my mouth (which was smiling.) My cheeks were hot. I couldn't answer, instead, I nodded.

Sebastian Led me to the center of the dance floor, which was abandoned due to the fact of Ciel giving us this time. My mates hand traveled to my waist and my hand, mine going to his shoulder and his hand.

We danced gracefully, swaying all around. All eyes were in us. He gently sung in my ear, the words to the song:

She gave a meaning to this empty world of mine

I moved my hands to around his neck, he was looking into my eyes now, singing softly.

She fills my heart with very special things
With angel songs with wild imaginings
She fills my soul with so much love
That anywhere I go I'm never lonely with her love
Who could be lonely?
I'll reach for her hand, it's always there. 

How long does it last?
Can love be measured by the hours in a day
I have no answers now but this much I can say
I know I'll need her till the stars all burn away
And she'll be there.

The song ended. I pulled Sebastian into a warm and passionate kiss, everyone clapped, I was still mesmerized by his blood red eyes.

We smiled and walked off the dance floor. He picked up two glasses of wine, and handed me one. I clicked mine with his, then started to drink.

"I love you Sebastian ..."

"I love you too Lilly"
