Chapter 28.
I was sitting on Matthew's lap in the reclining arm chair curled up under the blanket watching a movie. Half way through I had fallen asleep. Not to mention that 3/4 into the movie I was half awake and my mother walked in and saw Matthew and I, "Hey hone.. Or Matthew. Hey I tried to get home as soon as I could but we had a huge meeting. How is she?" Matthew started rubbing circles on my back, "Well that one girl from the other night beat her up and I feel awful." I hear keys clanking which probably means my mother is taking off her coat, "Well, as long as she rests up.. she'll be better." Matthew then stops rubbing circle on my back, "I can carry her upstairs for you? Just so she can rest more." Then next thing I know I'm being laid under my comforter. My eyes flutter open after Matthew kisses me on the forehead. I grab his hand and pull him back, "Where are you going?" He comes and sits on the edge of the bed, "Well, your mom is home.." We both look down at our hands that where together, "Okay well I'll see you on Wednesday." he lightly hugged me and kissed my cheek and whispers, "Bye Beautiful.." Then walks out and shuts my bedroom lights off.
