My Endurance (Karma Akabane x Reader)

|2| What's this Feeling, and What's this new Boy?!

-Third POV-
As the days went past, soon you grew accustomed to your day to day life.

Getting up in the morning, doing your hair into cute pigtails, only to walk up a mountain, if you were lucky maybe bump into Kayano or Nagisa whilst you're there. Walk inside the class, attempt to kill Koro-Sensei, fail at killing Koro-Sensei then get scolded by Koro-Sensei.

Today's classes went by fairly quickly, until you got to PE. Karasuma was your new PE instructor and boy were you in for the run.  You really weren't that special in anything, and you personally thought you were quite clumsy for a girl around your age. But having to be trusted with a knife? You were honestly a bit scared.

"Maehara, Isogai. Come at me with both of your knifes." Karasuma had just said which snapped you back to reality. "Sensei, uh isn't that sort of unfair.... it is two against one." Isogai bargained. Karasuma smirked as he looked at both of them, "Tell you what if you manage to hit me, I'll let you guys go home for the day." Everyone's faces seemed to have lighten up, with little hopes that Isogai and Maehara can manage to hit them. Little did you know but you were watching Isogai quite closely. Blushing a little at the prince among men, but you shrugged it off as a mere awkward feeling.

Karasuma then blocked every single swing the boys threw at him, even managing to flip them onto their backs. With a huff he said "If you can't hit me there's no way you can hit a creature who's top speed is Mach20." He glanced over to Koro-Sensei "Just look at him, he's had time to change clothes, make tea and even build a sand castle, so once everyone can hit me, you guys have a chance at killing this guy."

Karasuma then started to call onto more people to see how well they can handle a knife. Being a little bit worried you started getting nervous, you knew well you couldn't handle a knife very well. But after Kayano's turn it seems that Karasuma had called onto you.

"(L/N) it's your turn." He looked over to you. You jumped a little and meekly walked over to him, you were sure a messy fighter as you didn't have a plan and pounced on Karasuma whatever chance you got. This didn't do you well as eventually you fell onto your butt which gave its fair share of pain. Karasuma lent you a hand, and you got up whilst patting your butt to get rid of any remaining dirt particles. Also quietly swearing to yourself on how you made yourself look like an idiot to Isogai. But for some reason there's this weird feeling you can't seem to shake off when you think of him.

With a pat on the head from Karasuma, the class had ended. You grouped up with Nagisa and Sugino whilst walking back to class. "We have a test during 6th period." Sugino sighed. "W-wait really?!" you exclaimed a bit unprepared. "I know they should just let us go home after gym!" Nagisa joked. "Why should we even call it gym when we don't have a gymnasium in the first place." You said while sweating. Sugino laughed "I guess you're right but it's nice to breathe in fresh air right?" You smiled and nodded then came to a stop.

Then Nagisa suddenly stopped. His blue eyes gazed over to a male in front of you. He had striking red hair and eyes of a lion. But there he was casually sipping on some strawberry milk, his uniform was also sloppy. He wore the white shirt but without the tie, the same grey buckled up pants, but his own black blazer.

"What's up Nagisa, it's been a while." The red head said. Looking over to Nagisa in a confused manner, Sugino spoke up. "Hey Nagisa do you know this guy?" Nagisa looked over to Sugino, paused then started to speak. "Yea me and him go way back. We were friends ever since 1st year." you quietly payed attention, looking back at the red head who just scopes the area whilst lazily drinking from his carton.

His eyes then jolted as they landed onto Koro-Sensei's figure. He smiled and jumped down the steps walking past the three of you. "Wow you must be the notorious Koro-Sensei! You really do look like an octopus." All eyes were now on this new transfer student. "Ahh yes, Akabane is it not?" Akabane-kun giggled as he spoke "Just call me Karma teach." "Recovering from your suspension hm? But that should be no reason for you to be late on you're first day!" Koro-Sensei exclaimed. Akabane-Kun stuck out his tongue, "Sorry teach, it's just sort of hard to get back into the swing of things." Akabane-kun then held out his hand. Then you saw it.

Once Koro-Sensei's fingers met his hands they burst into a slime like substance as it fell onto the floor. Your jaw dropped. Man you thought this guy was a nice person but right he was suspended before for behaviour issues. Mentally smacking yourself for not seeing this coming, but who were you to blame. Not even Koro-Sensei saw it coming. Akabane-kun then lunged towards Koro-Sensei with his knife.

Koro-Sensei wasn't the one to just take a hit so he instantly dodged. Akabane-kun just walked over closer to Koro-Sensei and smirked. "I thought you were a killing machine. No way you could be this big of a pushover." Akabane-kun laughed.

You looked over to Nagisa. "Nagisa were you really friends with Akabane-kun?" Nagisa jumped at your sudden words, ever since he was focused on what just happened. Akabane-kun was the first to hurt Koro-Sensei after all. Nagisa gulped, "yeah... but even that he may end up a star student. Weapons and blood are his passion, if anyone could kill Koro-Sensei it would be him." Your eyes followed back to where Akabane-kun was. He was walking back flipping his knife up in the air creating stabbing motions every once in a while too.

I better stay away from him he's kind of scary... you thought to yourself.
