Aria POV~

"Aria!" I heard shout from the crowd. "Aria! C'mere!" I stood on my tippy toes to see above the dancing crowd. I saw Eliza's colorful friendship braclet waving in the air. I smiled and moved towards the brightly colored jewelry throught the crowd. I had given that braclet to Eliza; I'm actually surpriced she wore it. I remember her telling me it was too childish and it was poorly made. Yet, here she is, wearing it to a party. That makes me happy.

I Finally got to her after being pushed and shoved by sweaty, strong-perfume-smelling high schoolers. Or at least I think they're high schoolers. Eliza stood next to Ryan and... Xavier? Oh yeah, that's his name. He's suppose to be the most popular and richest guy in school. Doesn't he have a sister? Yeah. Right? Oh whatever; he doesn't matter. Only person that does right now is Ryan.

"Aria," Eliza said beaming with joy. "This is Xavier." She pointed to the boy on her right. He was tall. taller than Eliza with her 6 inch heals; That's pretty tall. He had curved lips and, as he smiled, went right up to his deep dimples. He was cute. His orange hair, which was obviously dyed. His eyes were a light Eden with little gold specks around the irisis. He was really cute. But no one, no, nothing can beat my Ryan.

"Hi," I nodded and gave him a nice, sweet smile. I wanted to make him see I was friendly since he was friends with Eliza. If you make Eliza confortable then I want us to be cool.

"Nice to meet you, Aria." He said to me, smiling. He put his hand out for a hand shake. I smiled back and took his hand. Unexpectedly, instead of shaking it he pulled me closer, leaned over and kissed it softly. I blushed, only a little, then snatched my hand back. Ryan didn't seem to mind. He just smiled and chuckled. Eliza frowned and slugged Xavier's shoulder.

"Ah, Sorry," Xavier apologized. "It just when I get close to pretty I can't help but want to get closer to the-" Once again, Eliza slugged him but this time in the ribs. Xavier gave her a annoyed look then looked at me and smiled. I gave him a slight smile then walked over to Ryan and hugged him, showing Xavier that I liked him. Maybe this would make him stop acting weird.

"Let's sit," Ryan said, basically ignoring my hug. I frowned as we all sat. That was a little strange. He'd usually smile or something. Instead he just turned the other way..... hmmmm? Whatever! I'll just ignore it.

We all talked for hours, We talked about stupid stuff; Mainly because all three were drunk. I'd ussaully avoid being with these guys (Eliza and Ryan) when they are drunk but I needed a laugh every once in a while. These guys seemed close. Very close. And as the hours went past I saw that Eliza liked Xavier. Really liked Xavier. I mean she was all over him but he seemed to have kept his eyes on me when that happened. That's one strange guy. I mean what guy would dare to ignore Eliza's charm? No one! Except him. Ryan seemed to have watched them more then me though. He'd speak to me and smile but everytime Xavier and Eliza got close his attention was dead on them.... Somethings wrong with the picture. I'll just ignore it like I always do. I'm sure it'll blow over.

"Eliza," Ryan said sternly. His honey colored eyes gave her a glare. Eliza, who was still very drunk, glared back and frowned. Xavier smiled as she let go of his arm.

"What Ry?" She asked annoyed, rolling her eyes. Ryan stood and grabbed her arm, keeping a strong hold on her. Eliza flinched.

"We need to talk," He said, glaring at her. he then gave that same glare to Xavier. "In private."

"Go right ahead" Xavier's smile obviously made Ryan even more irritated. Xavier leaned over to look closer into my eyes. His eye's... they... told me something was wrong. "Me and Aria can keep a good conversation going." My heart sank. Something was wrong; the feeling just hit me.
