My head stopped spinning. I finally could see clear. I opened my eyes and I was in my room, it was dark out. I turned over to see my dad laying next to me, his hand on my head.
"Dad, what are doing in my room?" I said, my voice was dry.
"Just making sure you're ok of course. How you feeling?"
"My head hurts a little and my throat is dry. Other than that I'm ok."
"That's good. We were worried about you. Did you hear the news?"
"What news?"
"You guys are going to a real school."
"What? Really?"
"Yeah, you guys need the experience."
"But we all love homeschool, it's easier and makes for more training time."
"I know but you guys don't need constant training anymore. Just a few bits here and there."
"We won't fit in dad. We're different from other people."
"It shouldn't matter, because they don't need to know the secret of you guys being part of the avengers."
"Wait, so we can't tell anyone about who we truly are?"
"That's right the only people in the school that will know are you guys and the principal."
"Ok well when do we start?"
"Tomorrow."
"What, tomorrow?"
"Yeah, don't worry you guys will be fine. We got you guys all of your supplies and books. You'll have fun. Now I'll let you get back to sleep, night kiddo." My dad kissed my cheek then left.
I didn't sleep at all that night. Tossing and turning. Thoughts of what it would be like in the school. New people, classrooms, and boys! Oh man we were all in for a wild ride.
