Lucy's Pov
"Lucy why are we here. You know that you can't afford this place yet even though you worked yourself to death." Wendy deadpanned as we approached the giant mansion I grew up in. I've got to know what my dad said in that letter was true or not. If I do have a brother... er brothers. Where have they been all this time when I needed them the most in my life.
"When my dad sent me a letter it read that I have two brothers. And for more answers I needed to come here and find them. But knowing my dad he didn't leave any kind of hint or clue about how and what we'll be looking for." I explained. I looked over at Wendy to see that her mouth had formed an 'o' shape. I couldn't help but giggle at her.
When we neared the mansion I ran up to the door. From the looks of it, it's still empty. Since this place is for sale the management it's currently under won't mind us coming in and looking around. The door opened with a giant groan. It was dark inside even though it was midday outside. The only light was that from the windows that were open.
"Umm okay let's split up. Taylor and Eleanor you can check my dads office which btw has a lot of books," just from the word book Taylor's eyes lit up and they were off in a second to start searching. "Logan and Daniel you two can just wander the halls and see if there's anything out of the ordinary," they nodded and started walking through the halls. "Wendy and Carla you two can gladly join me in searching through my families old stuff."

This is hopeless we haven't found anything in the two hours we've been looking. I didn't think my family had that many things but it turns out I was wrong. I still haven't heard any word from Eleanor and the others. "Hey! Wendy any luck in finding anything out of the ordinary?"
"Umm Lucy can you come here." Wendy squeaked out. I rounded the corner of items to find her standing on a stool on her toes reaching for a box that looked like my moms jewelry box. I recognized it because I often played with it a lot. Before I knew it Wendy lost her balance and was falling. She let out a squeak but I was able to catch her in an instant. "Thanks Lucy."
"Where's Carla and why didn't you just have her fly up there and get it?"
"She went to go check on the others to see if they found something." I nodded then looked up at the jewelry box. Maybe I can reach up and get it if I can stand on this stool.

A few more minutes and a box later I've almost reached up and grabbed he box. As I'm reaching it I could feel my fingers about to get it. Cmon just a little more. I jumped up and grabbed the box but as I did the box and stool tipped over. When I think I'm in for a rough landing I'm met with a pair of strong arms. I opened my brown eyes to be met with green ones. Logan caught me and was holding me bridal style. I couldn't help but blush that's until I heard an 'Oooo'.
My blush was over in an instant and I had a glare in my eyes. I turned my head to see Wendy, Carla, and Daniel standing there. Wendy and Carla both pointed at Daniel. My glare was focused on him he just sweat dropped and took off before I could get out of Logans arms. I looked at my moms jewelry box and slowly opened it. What was in it was a gate key and a letter.
