Author's Note:
I logged into Wattpad for the first time in--it's probably been over a year or two--just because of Lookism.
Mostly Jay. Or you may know him as Jae Yeol. He is killing me with adorable-ness every chapter. I finally looked up the manga because it's so much further along than the webtoon, and I was INDESCRIBABLY DISAPPOINTED that Daniel [Hyung Suk] seems to be falling for that... girl!

But knowing the internet, I'm sure there are plenty more fangirls/guys thinking the same way I am... so let's hit the fanfics, folks.

This fanfic will use the English names because I'm more familiar with them.
Also, I've never written anything smutty before but I intend to give it a try. Such chapters will be marked NSFW.

Jay had been stunned when his crush walked up to him out of the blue and told him that he wanted to spend more time with him.

No... that wasn't quite right. What his crush had actually said was "Jay! I heard you're the top student in class... Could you help me study, please?"

Jay wasn't delusional, he was just a little optimistic. And maybe his imagination was a little too strong, because he already saw himself confessing (through a letter), and the two of them on their wedding day, and adopting kids, and growing old...

Studying with Daniel was sweet agony. Sitting just close enough to smell his skin and a faint whiff of shampoo... Jay sniffed subtly. He was a bit worried that he had put too much cologne on that day. Daniel hadn't mentioned it, but he was too polite sometimes.

But being too nice for his own good was one of the reasons Jay lov... liked Daniel. He blushed, hoping Daniel hadn't picked up on what he was thinking just then.

"Jay?" Daniel looked up from his math textbook. "Could you show me what I'm doing wrong? I'm lost."

Jay smiled. How could such an adorable, clueless, airheaded sugar angel be sitting right in front of him? He stood up to look over Daniel's shoulder at the homework.
An x-variable was the problem. Tracing his finger down the page, he showed Daniel where he had gone wrong.

Daniel sighed. "Stupid mistake as usual...."

Jay shook his head.

"It wasn't stupid, you say? Anyone could have done it?" Daniel's face brightened up. "Well I'm happy just to hear you say that."

Jay was befuddled.

"What do you mean, I didn't say anything?....well, it's not exactly the same as hearing, that's true. You're just easy to read, I suppose."

Jay had always thought that having his thoughts read would feel intrusive, but when Daniel did it he felt warmth instead. A warmth that traveled through his heart and pooled in his pelvic area. Jay quickly sat down and crossed his legs.
