To own a Cypress wand you have to be very noble, Cypress are usually known for dying as a hero typically. Wands with Cypress tend to find their soul mates among the brave, bold, and self sacrificing. Also they usually they are able to meet those capable of the most rare kind magic out of all the wands cores they show the most initiative most wizards do not like this. Harry potter however has a Phoenix core wand. Wands that are slightly springy are open to have new owners and are very good to do with crafting spells.
